Umm his KO percent was 3% higher. Rudduck left Smith unconscious who Tyson could put a dent in, finished Dokes much quicker than Holyfield managed, finished Jackson in 4 who took Lennox Lewis 8 rounds. He also gave Tyson more trouble than anyone bar Douglas managed

 

He did not gave Tyson bigger trouble than Holyfield,Dokes was much older when Ruddock fought him,could not put a dent against aging Weaver which James did in first round!Also he lost to David Jaco whom Foreman knocked in first round!

 

You mean a guy who is much better at it and more proven, ya know, being the lineal HW Champion of the world on two separate occasions... Something Razor didn't come close to accomplishing. That other guy?

 

The past prime version wasn't more proven though. He got beat up so his head blew up like a baloon on numerious occasions. And he avoided the big punchers of the divisions throughout his comeback because he knew what would happen.

Only again, he was VASTLY more accomplished in his second career. Becoming the Lineal HW Champion of the world is significantly more than Razor accomplished. The fighters that had the most success with comeback Foreman are those who were cautious and used some mobility. Razor utilized NEITHER. He would walk right into George and get plastered at some point. Some the same BS negative criticism of Foreman won't change that one bit. Razor would wake up wondering WTF happened and why his power wasn't enough

I really don't see what early 90s Foreman did that Bonecrusher didn't.

Late 80s Bonecrusher compared to early 90s Foreman:
1. Flukish win over Witherspoon v. Flukish win over Moorer
2. Ud loss to Tyson v. Ud loss to Holyfield
3. Decision loss to Adilson Rodriguez v. Decision loss to Morrison
4. Dec win Bey and Ferguson v. Dec win Stewart and tko Coetzer

It's kind of like the same guy except Ruddock snuffed Bonecrusher.

 

Ruddock fought Dokes 1 year after Dokes fought Holyfield. Dokes had won 4 fights in that year prior to fighting Ruddock, Dokes looked sharp vs Razor he just got bulldozed unconscious.

Smith was very durable and Ruddock put him face down asleep.

You keep bringing up Jaco. Ruddock was very young in his professional career and he was dominating Jaco before he had an asthma attack which stopped the bout. You clearly never saw this fight.

Foreman couldn’t drop Morrison who a fat shot Ruddock dropped in the 1st round with a right hand which wasn’t even his power hand. Ruddock had been off for 3 years between Lewis and Morrison ( his 1 fight in between was vs no hoper Anthony Wade where he looked terrible) Prime Ruddock would’ve probably stopped Morrison in 2 rounds tops.

I don’t even know why am arguing with you you keep talking about Tillis beating Ruddock even though I’ve already told in this thread they never fought.

 

Dokes fought Ruddock one year after fighting Holyfield. And no one did to Dokes what Ruddock did. it was one of the most devastating KO's of all time. Also, at the time, Dokes was considered the 3rd best heavyweight behind Tyson and Holyfield.

 

Holyfield, Stewart, Morrison, Moorer, Schulz, Savarese and Grimsley were cautious against Old Foreman? Hardly!!! They all stood in the pocket and banged away at George's dome. How ere they able to land so friggin clean? By running? Holding? Neither, because this never happened. They all stood toe to toe and landed a high percentage. Imagine Ruddock, Tyson, Bowe, Lewis or even Frank Bruno and a faded Bonecrusher Smith landing on Foreman at will?

 

No one??Ruddock take Dokes in 4th round!But Bowe humiliated Dokes in a 1st round!Yeah right no one except Bowe who smashed him like no one did!Not even Ruddock or Holyfield!

Ruddock is the most overrated guy in history. He built his name with 2 loses with tyson. He got destroyed by any prime puncher that he fought like morrison and lewis( i know i know the excuse will be that he was in his peak in 1991 and then he was shot in 1992. Laughable).
Until 1984 he weighed under 200 pounds even in the 180s . he not just lost to a bum like david jaco but he could not stop him in 8 rounds .
He won a ****PY SD AGAINST A 35 YEARS OLD WEAVER.
All he did was beating A SHOT MICHAEL DOKES( IN HIS PRIME WAS NOT A GREAT THING).
And Beating a fat 36 years old James smith Who was very very close to knock
Him the **** out. A prime smith destroys him no question about it.
Ruddock was nothing special. He is built up by Tyson fans to make it seem like Tyson beat somebody good in his prime. That being said he fought all heavyweights and I mean true heavyweights
He could not even KO china chinned Morrison but Tyson fans live in delusion that he would knock Iron chinned Foreman!
Rudccok as I said was knocked by light pucnhing 40 years old Tillis, and he could not beat Morrison!
