Second round was very close. Wilder clipped him with one solid right and jabbed reasonably well. Fury closed strong, and landed at more or less the same clip, though neither fighter was making clean contact in that frame. I had Wilder shading it, but it could have gone Fury's way. In previous years, we would have called it a gentleman's 10-10 and have been done with it.
I scored the first clearly for Fury. It wasn't a dominant round of anything but I think Fury's jab was simply more authoritative, he even stunned Wilder a little with a heavy jab near the end of the round. Wilder was able to get off 2 right hands, first one the commentary team said landed on his head but it actually fell short as Fury skipped back, the 2nd was a decent shot but Fury landed a better overhand right after that, he also landed a decent left hook after the first right hand the missed from Wilder. I don't think Fury deviated from his plan at all, he was turned by one right hand that missed when by the ropes but the majority of the round he did what he had planned which was to push Wilder back and dictate the pace, not allowing Wilder much opportunity to push forward and then launch the right hand like he usually does.
Gave it to Wilder. Good rd for him. Fury realized at the end of the round he was giving Wilder too much room, by the end of the rd and starting from rd 3 he upped the pressure and that was basically all she wrote.
I didn't give him anything and to be perfectly frank had I been in attendance I would've pelted him with projectiles as he made his way back to his dressing room with his head bowed, his tail tucked firmly between his noodle legs, minus his soul which had been harvested from him by his surrogate father and master Tyson ''The Gypsy King'' Fury.
He got absolutely broken down and destroyed, if people want to give him the first 2 to make them feel better then I feel Fury fans should allow it, give a little something back just to be nice, because them people are hurting
I wouldnt have given him neither 1 round this time. However..the sad truth is Wilder is able to win maximum 2 rounds for match with Fury. The next time he'll win other two that means his way of boxing is very very limited.
Look who's talking about high horses... Mr. "I have Usyk #1 alongside Fury at Heavyweight. Fury for accomplishments, Usyk H2H". What has Usyk accomplished at Heavyweight to be #1 alongside Fury and above all the rest H2H?.
Look who's talking about high horses... Mr. "I suck Canelo's spunk through a straw coz I'm a sheep who follows the money man and hates anyone who's a threat to him(oh and due to a healthy mix of ignorance and xenophobia I hate anything from remote places in Europe)" Usyk's career at CW > Anyone's at HW. His skills see him beat everyone not named Tyson, which I've already said. Wouldn't you have Lomachenko top 3 at 140 if he moved up? And wasn't Canelo the "best LHW?" Yeah. **** off talking about High horses.
I've experienced a lot of idiots throughout the years here, but truly haven't experienced anything like this. Hey, I might as well join in. I have Pacquiao #1 Heavyweight H2H. Edit: I figured you'd be a Golovkin fan. That type of mental illness only comes from that group.
