Can someone explain to me how Wlad has a better resume than Wilder

Didn't you make this exact thread already? If you want to learn, this board isn't the place. Do some research on their fights and opponents FFs...

 

Wlad fought everyone, all the best from his era and they were easily better than Wilders opponents !

 

I guess newbies have got to learn their history from somewhere....no need to get angry at him.

 

Fights can be found on youtube for the most part. But if you are serious about the history, it'll take a LONG time and a lot of hours of just watching boxing and reading articles to get just a sense of what the divisions were like.

Chris Byrd alone was better than all the opponents on Wilder's resume that he didn't lose against. Wlad fought him twice, along with numerous Olympic standouts like Chagaev, Ibragimov, not to mention, oh yeah, Alexander Povetkin.

You could literally halve Wlad's resume and it'd still be more impressive than Wilder's. That's not even an exaggeration.

 

Wlad steamrolled everyone and ran the show for 10 years

He completely dominated the division for a decade, no matter how good they were initially thought to be, Wlad steamrolled them all

Wlad gets a lot of hate because he was "robotic", because "he got KTFO by two scrubs".
Bottom line is he wasn't American, and that's a no no for some people. But he was a great champ, a very good
role model, and smart as hell. How many American (or British for that matter) speak three or four languages?
He was ALWAYS in shape. He NEVER underestimated an opponent; came prepared for every fight.

I remember someone asking Mike Tyson which American HW could be the next champ...he said "no one...Wlad has
knocked them all out!".

 

Come on man although wlads legacy is based more on longevity his opponents generally are a cut or two above wilders

do 5 mins research and you’ll see

HOWEVER

when he came against genuine elite class opponents he lost.

wlad has a bunch of A and B wins but never an elite win.

 

Can you go do one?

 

Most better than Wilder himself, let alone his opponents.
