Mike Tyson vs Tyson Fury

It was only a matter of time before we had this one!

Now while I am very impressed by Fury's recent work, there is still a way to go, before we can talk about him in the same breath as his namesake!

 

Chris byrd and herry tillman picked fury to win this fantasy fight and both explained very good reasons. Btw fury beats marciano 10 -2 rounds haha and i am being nice with Rock

 

No what's laughable is your actual knowledge of the fight game.

 

The thing is that i have been in a ring ( tatami too) so i know what i am talking about. A keyboard warrior with overweight that never ever have fought(or even train in gym with partners) in his complete life can't say the samething.

Tyson likley get's outboxed for the first few rounds as he had problems with movers but he would eventually get through with his combinations and take Fury out in the mid rounds. Tyson by KO around 6-8 IMO.

Once the rose colored glasses come off every non biased observer will see that last weekend Fury was very sloppy, wide open to get countered inside and lost ba lot of steam by the 7th, he had more stream then Wilder but Fury slowed down too considerably .....Mike Tyson has never lost a fight he was infront from the get go and no way in hell is Fury bringing it to Tyson ;like he brought it to Wilder, trading with Mike is a disaster especially when you have a suspect chin like Fury......so Fury HAS to stay outside and try to spoil aka WK fight throwing 5.781 punches a round....IMO MIke would outhustle him in that game too a la Tucker.

Fury has ONE win over a old WK, thats it,everything else is pure cannonfodder, 1254789652 negative posts about before and after the Wilder fight proof that beating a bum like Wilder does not count.

 

Mike Tyson would stop him for mine. I know big guys like Tucker and Bonecrusher lasted but Fury is a winning fighter with a winning mentality and would leave it all in the ring one way or another. Obviously his best bet would be to spoil early, leaning, tying up and tiring Mike. I still favor Mike by quite a bit.

 

Fury lacks the focus and concentration to take Tyson the full distance for the decision. He may well take a few of the rounds but sooner or later he’s gonna try all those little tricks he can’t resist doing like putting both hands behind his back or putting his hands down and try to avoid the punches by swaying his head back or to one side. Prime Tyson is too fast and too accurate with his shots for Fury to take such liberties with and I can see Fury being nailed and put down in the mid rounds.

 

Yow, Mike at his prime, full force. Too, too much for Fury. Too much for most heavies, including many top 20 ATGs.

I mean...Fury could conceivably take him the distance...

wait, that's ridiculous. Yes, he got up from Wilder (a harder puncher), but Mike was an intense finisher (one of the best ever). He was too fast...and he got faster foot and hand speed-wise when finishing.

Tyson knocks him down twice and the ref stops it in 5. Fury couldn't keep him off him, no way.

 

A faded Mike Tyson who lost to Holyfield twice could still have destroyed all three of the current big three

 

I don’t think Fury could afford to show boat with Mike. Mikes leagues better then Wilder although completely different. Think Mike would get inside rather easily and it rather quickly. Although I have to say Fury is the first HW to impress me besides Wlad or Vitali in a long time. He’s a giant throw back to when men took this profession seriously. He’s got a lot of tricks up his sleeve and seems to adapt for his best opposition. Sure he would show a lot of heart against Tyson but I don’t know if his chin wild hold as of yet

 

Prime Tyson definitely gets to Fury at some point.

A Tall long fighter like Tyrell Biggs lets say looked sensational against Tyson for most of the first round, but it didn’t take Tyson Long to start cutting the ring off and catching the taller fighter.

Fury is bigger and longer than Biggs and has terrific feints and herky jerky movements so I would expect him to trouble Tyson for a few rounds and maybe make Mike look bad.

Tyson would be going hard to the body and he would start to land his hook and right hand more as Fury started to become more flat-footed because of Tysons constant pressure and body punches.

He’ll hurt Fury in about the eighth or ninth round and then finish him.

 

Tyson definitely takes this unless it's a draw.
