Who are his elite opponents? Fury and Joshua? He was 39 and 41 at the time he fought them. What were Ali, Tyson, Holmes like at that age?

You have got to be kidding

    Liakhovich
    Chagaev
    Povetkin
    Haye
    Byrd

Those five, to name a few, were all ELITES wins by anyone’s standards

Wilder himself was the only one who considered himself an all-time great

and I doubt even he sees that anymore LOL

What a one-sided “Fury thrashing” that was, against an all time (ahem) “great”, such as Wilder

    1. He didn't fight Liakhovich. Do you mean Sultan?

    2. Im a big Wlad fan, but I absolutely think those wins being labeled 'elite' are debatable. I definitely dont consider Sultan or Chag to be elite tier wins.

I deleted your other threads because I thought you were trolling.

If Wlad is before your time and you are genuinely wondering, then sorry about that.

Yes, Wladimir Klitschko loved competing against midgets and/or cruiserweight like Chris Byrd, Sultan Ibragimov, Samuel Peter, Ruslan Chagaev, Jean-Marc Mormeck, Alex Leapai, Alexander Povetkin, Eddie Chambers, David Haye, Calvin Brock and god knows who else.

The truth is, Wladimir Klitschko's reign over the division was full of no hopers. Those guys I mentioned are all 6'2'' or under. Don't even bother telling me David Haye is 6'3''. He's not.

The only guys he fought over 6'2'' were old man Tony Thompson, Mariusz Wach, Francesco Pianeta, Kubrat Pulev and Bryant Jennings. All of whom were pretty useless.

Whether people like it, or not, Wladimir Klitschko's resume is **** poor.

You are right I stand corrected He never did fight liakhovic

WLad was beaten by Brewster and went Life and death with Peter—— but came back and steamrolled both of them ala Lennox Lewis against Rahman and McCall

    Wilders best opponent was Ortiz

Wlad has at least 6-8 opponents wins that were more impressive wins than Ortiz ——and not only did he beat them he beat them in grand fashion——— not getting clearly out boxed as Wilder was against Ortiz

Wyler is not nowhere near on the level of what Vlad was Nor Vitalis level

    Not even close

Wlad went down the top 10 list knocking out everyone with the exception of his brother.

Wilder went 7 title defenses before fighting a single top 10 challenger. Then lost to the second top 10 fighter he faced.

    No, he definitely underestimated Fury

One wonders how a rematch would have gone
