Stupid to take it at this point. Would give him far more credit if he rebuilded first then went back in again with fury. The way its looking if wilder loses to fury again....his career will be a joke. He actually deserves better. A loss to a half fit fury who,d been off for 3 years getting fat. A demolishing against a more fit fury in the 2nd fight and another defeat to fury would leave him with one half decent win against a 40 year old who,s best win was jennings. And knockouts of guys handmade for him.

I actually think the powers that be....should step in and cancel the fight till wilder shows us something. Should be out there fighting parker, whyte, chisora, ruiz, povetkin. Guys like that next. He got 2 or 3 wins like that...at least hes got a cv of some kind. As it stands after that last weekend....it looks like his career has been smoke and mirrors. Needs to go out and prove himself before going back in with fury and taking on joshua.

The problem is that he will lose against them too. Chisora is 50/50. And that would just further expose him and his career for the cherrypicked hypejob he always was.

Maybe (wilder & Fury) will lose vs the 6'09" scaled-up versions of those Heavyweights, those shorter out-of-shape stocky fighters want to fight at Heavyweight, so they accepted that vulnerable position...

I actually think that someone like Takam could beat him at this point. I mean Wilder's whole schtick was his confidence in being able to land his right hand and end the night for his opponent, but if he's lost that confidence then he just becomes a lanky dosser who can't box.

Not so sure. These guys will still need to close the gap on him which makes you pretty vulnerable against wilder. Fury because he punched his way in with his length got away with it. These guys dont quite have that same length tho. Different proposition if you,ve to move in on him with the shorter reach. They all are hard fights for him tho...but he needs to prove himself now...something hes not really done before. It shouldn,t be about money now...hes made for life. It should be about carving out a career thats not a bit of a joke. One win against a 40 year old ortiz where he lost almost every round does not make a career.

He should have taken step aside money and let Fury fight Joshua and in exchange get the chance to fight the winner of that fight next.
