    As dicey as Mikey looked I'm still not entirely convinced DSG isn't more of a sure thing for Pac.

    edit: they're both pretty much sure things, but DSG might have more visibility at this point to make for a more lucrative fight.

    ..idk, though, depends how much pandering Mikey does with the Mexican demographic. They make a difference, and Pac knows it..

    If the fight happens Pac will be close to 42, giving up 10 years to Garcia, 32.

    The Pac who fought Hatton and Cotto stops this Micky inside 5.

    But that Pac is no more.

    Now, almost a pick'em fight....very slightly favouring Pac.

    I like Garcia vs Garcia more.
    Pac should beat him but I don't like the chance that Pac gets old overnight

    Mikey is extremely calm in the ring. He's a really good boxer and can take a punch. But he's TOO calm and his arms are too short for welterweight.

    No, full stop, Mannix, there is no "but". He wasn't/hasn't been/isn't as effective at 147. Not even close. The result here - scraping by Vargas by the skin of his teeth - doesn't matter. He isn't shit at welter, is the main takeaway.

    Yeah Manny's age and wear & tear will be up there but I don't think very highly of Mikey. An ancient Pac in his dying legs should still be able to avoid the only two punches in Mikey's arsenal (the jab and the telegraphed right hand) to do a number on him.
