All bias aside, do you think people are being way too harsh on Deontay Wilder?

I admit when Wilder lost to Fury I made fun of him, and so did many others. But put your hate and bias against Wilder aside for a second

Now that the heat of the loss has died down a bit, do you think he is being unfairly criticised?

    People are saying.
-Deontay Wilder has no skills, just power. Okay this is exaggerating a little too much. you don't win an Olympics medal and 40+ professional fights with no skills. He might not have Floyd level skills, but he is somewhat talented
-Deontay Wilder is a fraud/bum - Not really sure how he is a fraud. He simply lost to the best heavyweight of this era. He does not have a strong resume but that does not mean he is a fraud. It just means he is not in the elite or ATG level
-Deontay Wilder has a glass jaw. How many times has he been dropped like this in his career? Also, getting knocked down by a 6'9 273lb giant does not mean your jaw is weak.

    Conclusion
-Deontay Wilder talked a lot of trash and rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. As a result he is getting more backlash than he should. I have never seen a boxer get this much criticism. I believe if Wilder was humble and respectful and loved, people would not crap on him so much

He is getting what he deserve.
When he is running his mouth for that long and talking rubbish on other top boxer, you can expect that to come.
The hypetrain for him come from himself, so he can blame only his a*** for the backlash and all the laugh against him. And to be fair he needs to be trolled even more. I think people should go very hard on him, as a example for others.
As i said he deserve way more for his mouth running for so long, and sorely on his post against AJ after AJ lost to AR. That shows you how pathetic this piece of c**** is.
If i was AJ i would have trolled him really hard after the beating Fury gave him.

No. He brings on himself. He is not a serious man, so nobody is gonna feel obligated to be serious about him.
Very little about wilder feels genuine.

A lot of boxing fans are divas themselves! When in doubt just peruse the threads the day after Joshua loss.

Or the day after Garcia went the distance with Spence. Spence couldn't stop him. Proof he is a fraud, weak, can't box etc etc..

No, I (and many others) have been saying the same things about him for years, nothing has changed after he lost to Fury. Wilder is what he is: an unskilled barroom brawler with a fast and powerful right hand and an unlikable tryhard personality. He is good at crushing tomato cans, that is all.

There’s lots of people dksab, more than 90% of fans I would guess.
I always said nobody beats Spence at 147, not even Crawford.
Just keep in mind that 9 out of 10 posts you read are clueless people repeating clueless narratives. So learn who actually sees intelligently and discount all the white noise.

Deontay Wilder is 100% immune to criticism, he views normal people as fragile weaklings that can't survive eye-contact with him...So their opinion/criticism has zero value & impact....(to be considered "Harsh"....its undetectable nano-noise by micro-dismal-creatures)

This a common theme in Great Grandiose men....

This is opposed to the Vulnerable Neurotic Narcissist (who failed to be Grandiose due to being Neurotic & sensitive to criticism), those Neurotic Failed Narcissists...have zero impact on the Grandiose Great men, but they are effective in Galvanizing the normal population, when the Grandiose Emperor eventually notices the unfavorable nature of the masses....He responds by a powerful punitive measure that sends the vulnerable Narcissists into their bottom state & punishes the average peasant for being normal....

This should have never been the case if the normal person accepted the facts, enjoyed Wilder showcasing his the advances in human evolution...instead of letting jealousy consume them...

This is why boxers desperately do everything to protect their zero and avoid fighting the best fights.

Only Tyson Fury can beat Wilder in the manner he did. AJ even if he miraculously grows a pair and tries to implement the same game plan will eventually get caught with a Wilder laser right

For all Wilder's limitations, he has done extremely well to get as far as he did by relying on his power, speed, and athleticism. He has a great right hand and superb one-punch KO power. But like most of his critics say, he has been cherry-picking limited fighters, washouts, and chinny fighters to built up a padded record. You have to remember Wilder never fought the caliber of opposition expected of a champion (i.e. Joshua) and was actively protected, he never even fought a mandatory. Now that Wilder has taken his long-overdue beating against an actual top contender, I'm actually excited for his career to see what adjustments he will make and if he will start fighting the guys he should be fighting. Wilder 2.0 under a new trainer that will make him employ the very basic fundamentals, he can only improve and become a better fighter.
