In case you didn't notice, I was actually giving Fury lots of credit. And I think Fury is arguably the best heavyweight in the world at this point in time. But am I giving him this credit, specifically for defeating Wilder? Absolutely not!

I knew all I needed to know about Fury's abilities as a boxer long before he fought Wilder. Right now, until some future prospects convince me otherwise, I can only see perhaps 3 or 4 heavyweights that can upset Fury and no, those heavyweights don't include Deontay Wilder or Anthony Joshua.

I'v always been amazed at fans that denounce a fighter as a bum, then elevates the bum when they lose to the troll's favorite.

    This!

What exactly was I banned for, bypassing a swear filter, can you point out exactly what word that was.. You banned me for you being hurt not me bypassing anything, you are abusing your powers here to suit you when you can't deal with being wrong, you're too quick to pull out the ban stick man, and it's not even funny.

Please tell me what word I supposedly bypassed for the unjustified ban?

Why should I have to pick one extreme over another because certain fans have a binary mentality and can't process shades of grey?

Wilder wasn't this great heavyweight that people were talking about, but he was easily a top five fighter and one of the hardest punchers in the division, so Fury's win over him is to be highly rated on those merits. But a win over Wilder doesn't automatically elevate Fury to the top of the heap. There's still Joshua to contend with.

Right now Fury's win puts him number two at the least and joint first at the most. He doesn't surpass Joshua because Wilder wasn't above Joshua when he beat him, and Joshua himself just beat a man who was, H2H, as good if not better than Wilder. Hard to say as Wilder spent so much of his time avoiding legitimate challengers.

A fight between the two men is the only way to say for certain who is clearly number one, at this moment in time.

It's a good post but fact is wilder was a bum and fury just happened to be the first top level guy with a pulse to fight him.

Dont tell me ortiz because that guy is a bigger myth than wilder. 500 years past his best and never fought a top 10 opponent himself.

I am very late to this thread, but no, you don't have to pick one, because, as the old saying goes, "appearance is more than reality."

The reality is indeed that Wilder is a completely talentless, manufactured fraud who beat nothing but part-time fighters and the medically unfit, and occasionally had someone come in to take a dive.

The perception believed and espoused by his rabid can base is that he is the hardest puncher ever, harder than Ernie Shaver, with a better than 90% KO ratio, and a bronze medal that proves his skill. His thin resume is a result of fighters being afraid to fight him.

By the way, OP, you are a guy I respect greatly on here, period.

I don’t know if anyone else has posted this but he needs to defend a world title or there’s no way he can be considered the best of his era

You used one asterisk over the vowels when writing the F and S word in an attempt to get around the word filter.

Nope, not in this thread I never, so you're simply admitting I was banned because you couldn't handle me having a laugh at you getting it all so wrong.. I was simply banned for lawding over fury's win.. Lol
Like you said you ignored 'other times' but you won't no more, but I never bypassed anything at that time and certainly never in this thread from where I was banned. So it was indeed an unjustified ban, not that it matters now but its not good having a mod abuse his position like you do and press the ban button when it suits you. Especially when no warnings have been issued etc..

Weak man, weak as and you know it!

Nevermimd, done now.. Onward and upward we go.

    Peace.
