    Only a short ban but he never bothered returning for whatever reason.

    Yes he was booted with some others for having a long drawn out Political debate. He never returned after that. Too bad, A huge loss to this Forum

    Burt is still kicking or at least was as of a couple months ago. Unfortunately I believe his health issues are the reason he no longer posts.

    All this X stopped Y faster than Z stopped Y stuff is meaningless without examining the context of what stage the fights occurred in the careers of each person. And at least get your facts straight. Liston stopped Besmanoff in seven rounds, and Archie stopped Willi in 10 rounds of their second fight. So, to be totally accurate it took Archie a total of 20 rounds to stop Besmanoff. Whichever way you look at it, 10 or 20 rounds is more time than 7 rounds.

    I commend you on your enthusiasm and loyalty to Rocky Marciano. But your command of the facts leaves more than something to be desired.

    Is there a laboratory somewhere near Roswell that pumps out these Rockistas ?

    Each new batch seems stupider , less logical and more certain of their righteousness than the last. Proselytism at its worst.

    Another one of the new Rockistas making a logical, reasoned and very well thought out and constructed post. In reality it’s getting completely ridiculous.

    How many posters here now have a version of Rocky as their name ?

    I can’t tell a lot of them apart or remember who is who.
