Are we going to see a lot of Russians turn over in the next couple of months?

Any blue chips,we should keep an eye out for?

I tweaked the title, just in case. No need to get banned for Nationalistic trolling, when that clearly wasn't your intent.

I hope they turn pro sooner anyway. Much more money to be made, much more press coverage and easier to become a known boxing name and much better chance of building greater résumés.

An Olympic medal is great stuff but there is much more being a professional.

Don't know if I agree — holding an Olympic medal makes a fighter much more desirable and marketable to promoters. Definitely makes launching a career that much easier even if it's a bronze medal.

There's still a chance nobody will be able to compete at the Olympics, if the Corona virus isn't contained by May.

Emp Abe has made it his mission for 20+ years to secure an Olympics. They aren't folding it even if the bird flu comes back.

Thats what I thought too. "The games must go on!" But it seems they are considering cancelling the whole thing.

This is all politically motivated. 98 percent of countries dont even have proper Anti doping protocols but the Yankees put all their effort on their arch rivals Russia to get them banned from the olympics ( Russians will appeal and get the ban overturned) TRUMP should help his Russian comrades against American Interference.

I guess it will depend on how clean, or otherwise, they are.

Americans were exposed way before Russians:
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Lewis
In 2003, Wade Exum, the United States Olympic Committee's director of drug control administration from 1991 to 2000, gave copies of documents to Sports Illustrated that revealed that some 100 American athletes failed drug tests from 1988 to 2000, arguing that they should have been prevented from competing in the Olympics but were nevertheless cleared to compete. Before showing the documents to Sports Illustrated, Exum tried to use them in a lawsuit against USOC, accusing the organization of racial discrimination and wrongful termination against him and cover-up over the failed tests. His case was summarily dismissed by the Denver federal Court for lack of evidence. The USOC claimed his case "baseless" as he himself was the one in charge of screening the anti-doping test program of the organization and clarifying that the athletes were cleared according to the rules.[83][84]

Lewis was among the named athletes. Exum's documents revealed that he had tested positive three times at the 1988 Olympics trials for minimum amounts of pseudoephedrine, ephedrine, and phenylpropanolamine, which were banned stimulants.
