JMM's KO of Pac is the best win of the decade.

And Clenelo literally just fought at 175 weighing in at 174.5 pounds — where he probably outweighed Kovalev on fight night. That says that making 152 killed him.

So those odds had nothing to do with how unbeatable Floyd was perceived to be at the time? This was the first and only time Canelo was a betting underdog, and against a much smaller guy.

To use your Loma-Rigo comparison, if Floyd had fought an old Rigo type guy coming up 2 weight divisions instead of moving up to fight an undefeated, young 40-0 champion there’s no way that fighter would only be a 3/1 underdog. Closer to 10/1. Similarly if Loma moved up in weight to fight a Canelo calibre fighter, that fighter wouldn’t be an underdog at all, he’d most likely be favoured by bookmakers and fans alike.

Can’t argue with that. JMM ktfo Pac at the top of his game. Shame Pac was coming off a “loss” in that fight though, would have been that much more impactful. Pac was seen as an unstoppable force and Bradley kinda took some of that aura away.

The blatant PEDs by JMM is also another thing. There are suspicions and then there are just blatantly obvious.

Marquez was losing the fight until the KO. Mayweather thoroughly outclassed, dominated, and outboxed Canelo. I think that’s what separates the two wins. That and Marquez/Pacqauo were both the same size and around the same age. Neither had any particular physical advantage over the other and were evenly matched from that standpoint. The same is not true for Mayweather-Canelo

Mayweather Canelo was a great win. Roy Jones winning an heavyweight belt was also a piece of history. Douglas upset against Tyson. Ali Foreman. I think Nigel Benn comeback against McClellan has to be one of the greatest. These would perhaps be a quick top 5 for me.

So having a competitive fight vs 2 fighters who were considered #1 in the division 1 a Titlist holder the other a Champ one unbeaten coming off a win over an ATG in Cotto the other with only 1 loss that was considered a highway robbery vs Williams is a bad things.

Real talk it took facing Jarret Hurd 4 years later for Lara fighters to be convincingly beaten. Hell Ttout arguably should have wins over both Charlos at 154 and your using them to discredit Canelo. Bro name me a fighter in the last decade that has a better resume in any division Canelo has competed in than him?

I think the fact that you had to name a fighter that was top 5 P4P in what would be Mayweather 7th division to find a fighter you think would be favored says alot don't you think.

what was the question? I thought you said to name a fighter who has a better resume than Canelo, in any division he's competed in. What does that have to do with what you're saying

"Bro name me a fighter in the last decade that has a better resume in any division Canelo has competed in than him?"

The biggest miracle is that somebody got a decision win over Canelo. Trout was robbed in Canelo's previous fight so Canelo can get this opportunity.
