I've not seen much of Fa, because, from what I have seen, he doesn't really look like one to follow. I think Parker wins this comfortably.
Easily. Apart from having a great chin, Allen does nothing but plod around the ring trying to land his overhand right once or twice a round max.
Good learning fight for Parker. A few more of these and he'll be ready to challenge an old gatekeeper. He's a solid prospect, let's not rush into things.
yeah 100% winters has got better wins than lenroy thomas and is also more athletic. I think winters would out box Allen.
Do you think this fight is partly designed to maintain Parkers home audience? Viewed in that context, the fight looks better to me, as long as Parker does step up again at the back end of the year.
he had a bit of hype at first had good amateur career but he’s really underwhelmed as a pro. I remember I think it was his second year as pro he had couple of poor performances and then he came out and said it was health problems and it was all sorted and he had changed his diet got a sports physiologist but he still looks the same. he’s very one paced and fights within himself and has no power. Also got dropped in a fight against a journeyman and really struggled in that fight. As @Jurgen would say guys a complete pudding.
Hearn mentioned Parker possibly fighting in New Zealand after last Saturdays show. This must be the fight he has in mind. Hunter has called Parker out so maybe that will happen instead, although I can't see that happening in New Zealand.
It would be but Fa is hardly known here. Even Shane Cameron had a bit of a followg before fighting Tua. I guess with Fa being Tongan and Parker being Samoan it creates a rivalry right there but Fa is largely unknown down here.
Where? The handful of Tongans in South Auckland that may have heard of him? Everyone in NZ knows Parker, barely anyone knows Fa.
