    He did win.

Was ridiculous having no judges and having the ref call it.

Interesting story about the gloves in the second Fury fight.

Wasn't there talk at the time that O'Connor had some grievance against McDermott's dad?

Either way a real shame for John given how Fury's career has panned out. Yes he's a very different fighter these days but it's hard to think of an unbeaten British fighter who is so obviously not unbeaten. You could maybe have given the Hopkins or Reid fights to Calzaghe's opponents but for me Joe won them. If Fury retires unbeaten having gone through Joshua he'll inevitably be an all-time British great, but John McDermott should be able to rightfully say he has a win against him.

Price blowing away McDermott in a round was one of the main reasons Fury ducked the plumber's mate.

It’s what makes. a mockery of “unbeaten” records. Sven Ottke is another, obvious claimant to a bogus undefeated record.

Yeah, great man and good to listen to. Very tidy boxer at his best, I can well believe he holds his own in sparring with the likes of Povetkin, very crafty, good iq !

Good boxer big john. Defo though he won that first fury fight when watching it. Not a body beautiful but always ready to go the distance. I remember watching him blow away larry the war machine away with a mate who didnt have a clue bout boxing, was laughing when i picked john to beat larry who was chislled!

You can laugh at me here but I still belive that version of price would've beat that version of fury at that time. Furys handlers 100% swerved that fight.

Then price got his eardrum burst by Tony Thompson and turned into a nervous wreck.

    Ain't life strange...
