What's up with Fury's glove?

In some pictures, it looks like Fury's fist is positioned so that the front of the fist is right where the laces are. So the glove flops over the fist, and Fury is basically hitting him with a proper punch, without padding. That's not right. I am not 100%, but it does look like it in some pics.

 

You can even see his hands being wrapped here and you can see his palms are unwrapped. You know what part of his hand does have wrap on it? His knuckles

Not at all. I'm looking at pics and making an observation based on what I see. I'm not screaming Fury cheated at top of my lungs but I can make an observation. I am not even close to a Wilder fan. It's pretty clear by my posts in the fight thread and other threads.

 

Did Fury slip his fist back into the glove mid fight? Because the punches that knocked him down and the straight rights the ended the fight were connect on the scoring section of the glove with the full padding.

 

That's what's so odd about it. He clobbered Wilder with some good shots early which show full impact.
Then later shots show the floppy glove action.

 

It was a stupid remark by a worthless POS that started the ludicrous Margarito loaded gloves scandal. That poor guy had his good name tarnished & his career too & he'd done nothing wrong. Folks that lie should be held accountable plus the incompetant &crooked State Commissions

There is some fishy **** that the commission needs to look at, as there are pictures of the gloves slipping off in both fights. People say it happened to Ali, etc, and I can understand it, but both fights. The wrists are supposed to be taped properly so this doesn't happen.

As far as what it would do for Fury? Less padding means than he can break bones or cut up Wilder's face, look at bare knuckle boxing. Also the knuckle folds are visible in some of the photos, and if you clock your opponent with the laces it will rip his face, brows up. Fury is also on record as saying that he's dipping his hands in gasoline to toughen them up like he's preparing for bare knuckle. Someone needs to investigate this further. Boxing safety 101.

If you mean pics of the bare hand under the laces, and the glove coming loose, there are videos and stills on youtube that show examples from both fights.

Firstly, there are no 'knuckle folds'. That's the heel of his palm. This should be obvious to anybody with half a brain and who can look at his own hands
Secondly, less padding means he'll also break his hand. Boxing gloves aren't just there to protect the guy getting hit from serious damage, they're there to protect the guy doing the hitting from doing serious damage to his hands
