Just like how people said Wlad would knock Fury out, Billy Joe is going to box circles around the flat footed Mexican.

    Mark my words.

As good a boxer as he is, I think Saunders will get comprehensively beaten and possibly beaten up as well by Canelo. I don't think Saunders has enough meat in his punches to keep Canelo at bay for 12 rounds. Another point is Saunders' last few years of inactivity, injuries and lack of motivation and dedication will not stand him in good stead for this fight. Yes, Saunders will be switched on and motivated for this fight and could have a great training camp etc. but his recent form doesn't bode well, especially when you compare it to Canelo's.

I think Saunders will come out of this fight with more credit (in defeat) than anything else he’s achieved in his career. I think he’ll show proper brass nads, will win rounds and cause Canelo a headache. There’s no reason why BJS can’t come out of this better thought of than he is now.

Big fan of both fighters. Canelo is elite and can win a number of ways. BJS can only win one way and I just don’t think he’ll get any favours with the scorecards fighting like that.

I think he'll prove the doubters very wrong. He's going to be fitter and sharper than he's ever been. He's going to make Canelo look silly at times. He won't be stopped and many unbiased people will say he won the fight. However, sadly, he won't get the cards.

Saunders is exactly like Fury. He just needs that acid test to show how good he is and this is it. It's the fight of his life on the biggest stage.

The world including team Canelo are sleeping on Saunders and that's exactly how he wants it. I can't wait for this fight!

Canelo can’t be knocked out and Saunders isn’t getting the cards unless he completely dominates him. It’s interesting to think about the Fury - Klitschko comparisons but Canelo is in his prime and we’ve seen more of Saunders than we had of Fury by that point.

Good luck to Saunders though, I wouldn’t mind being proven wrong.

I just can't see Saunders keeping Canelo off him for 12 rounds.

BJS will be slippery for a few rounds, probably even win the first few with his jab but Canelo will slowly make adjustments and catch up with him.

Saunders doesn't have the power to keep Alvarez away from him. Long and painful evening I fear.

Saunders hasn’t looked that good since the Lemieux fight. Can he raise his level to give Canelo a decent go...possibly, but he does not possess the power and physicality to really take it to him.

I think Billy might go the distance in a relatively negative performance, or he gets walked down in the later rounds and stopped.

He'll do well for a few rounds but be methodically beaten down. Different leagues.

I used to think BJS wins this, but has sadly regressed since the Lemmy fight. Where as Canelo has improved tremendously.

A sad case of a guy having all the physical tools and talent, but not the mentality.

That said I'll be rooting for Billy-Joe and hope he pulls it off.
