Floyd Mayweather vs. Devon Alexander.

I've seen Devon fight live all they back to when he was an amateur. He was damn good but Floyd was a different beast. Floyd beats him hands down.

 

Since Devon started training with ROID's Jr he seemed to have inherited his glass chin.

I remember ranking Alexander very highly at one point in time...it was probably after the Urango fight where he knocked him out with an uppercut if I’m remembering correctly. But it just seems like he had one of the shortest primes of any top fighter I’ve seen. I don’t know what happened, but he just looked to decline very fast. Maybe he was just overrated to begin with. Regardless, Floyd makes easy work out of any version of Devon Alexander.

 

It probably would go like the Chop-chop victory. Chop-chop did stun Mayweather but was dropped and lose in convincing fashion.
All fighters had trouble with speed but there is nothing in Devon's career to think that we would seriously trouble Mayweather.

Haha yeah. They said Guerrero's workrate would cause him problems, said he threw as many punches as Calzaghe did (over 1,000 in a fight). They forget to mention he was bank average, plodding feet and lacked any power.

 

Drugs happened.

 

Devon had a lot of fights. By the time he was 17 he had over 300 amauter bouts. He also developed an opiate addiction which he has since kicked. A lot of wear and tear on him. I actually just saw him last week at the St Louis Golden Gloves. He looked healthy and ready to fight again.

 

Drugs, Schmrugs, Tim Bradley took this man's soul in the biggest fight of his life, ya'll. Timboned all the way to Timbuktu, yo.
