I realize we have a thread already dedicated to this fight, but I kind of feel like the press conference was enough of an event that it deserved its own. ~5:30 till 6:30 is my favorite chunk. This content is protected 'Tony, I respect him as a fighter. But as human being, as person, I don't understand this guy'-Khabib Yeah...I know what he means. He's always been weird, but in the last two years his personality has degenerated to the point that he dangerously blurs the line between kayfabe and mental illness. The revelations from last year of his violent alcoholism and his oscillating lucidity seemed to give this press conference a really sinister vibe. Guys like Tommy 'Hurricane' Jackson and Lew Jenkins were eccentric to the extreme but we'll never really know how strange it was first hand. But from what we can get enough information from history to place Tony among the weirdest elite fighters ever. Even that background chatter from the audience was entertaining.
