Couldn’t have said this better myself. People are making this victory out to be something it’s not. Impressive ? Yes. A good but not great win given what we know about Wilder and his limitations as a boxer

Belts mean nothing and should not even factor into this discussion. Wilder didn’t even properly win his belt . Stiverne won a vacant belt by beating Arreola. Wilder then beat Stiverne and proceeded to defend against complete bums.

And that devalues the win, how exactly?

But you, yourself, think it's impressive. So you were impressed. Excellent. Concur...

He might have the skill to do so.

But I suspect he would never have consistency and discipline.

In the biggest fights, he's the best. But at any other time, he's a mess.

I was refuting your claim that I was “rewriting the narrative surrounding the fight.” The value of the win is overblown by Fury fanboys such as yourself . Wilder was and still is garbage.

AJ is not beating this version of Fury. The skill gap bw the two is massive. Fury is extremely versatile and can adapt on the fly to the opponent, match situation. AJ already failed against Ruiz in the first fight whereas Fury even when he has made mistakes in fights has quickly recovered

Not sure about that. He defeated a very old and worn Wlad going for his 19th defense in a stinker. Yes he has dominated the insanely hyped and vastly overrated Wilder twice now. Very Good wins but dominate is a strong word. Need to see more of him and he needs to fight and beat AJ (I think he can) but I hope fight gets made.

He ain`t dominating a s****. The guy have exactly 0 defences in his whole career.
His matches against Hammer and Klitschko should have been no contest, because he was caught with steroids, the real reason he goes on missing for 2 years.
Tho as i have said every PRO athlete are on something, but if you are stupid enough to get caught, then its your fault and people should finger you big time.
People loves to overrate here. We give him plenty of credits for beating Klitschko, even an out of shape and faded Klitschko, but the guy run out of the rematch like a coward and he runs from it twice. Because he knew what would have happen even against out of prime Klitschko.
He beat Wilder twice, but Wilder was a staged paper champion.
But outside of old Klitscko and overrated as hell Wilder, his resume is dead empty.
AJ resume with less fights is way better than Fury one.

And let him first beat Wilder in the rematch, then AJ and Whyte and see if he can be a force in this era.
But i doubt so. He can bring it once in a while, and its happen to do so in big matches, but he can`t be consistent.
His skill set is way overrated to me. His technique is nothing special, as well as his speed, footwork, he is feather fisted as well. What`s make him in the current situation is the height and weight he has on his opponents.
But he still has to prove that he can stay consistent and beat prime young guys who are coming to take his titles.
I said my opinion many times already. AJ will brutally KO him and will destroys the myth of invincible Fury. For me Fury is very easy fight for Joshua. Fury can`t do a s***** on the inside, because Joshua will destroys him there, his best bet is to box to the back foot, but Joshua is actually a young prime fighter, who have good movement and is very fast and explosive, and is very strong and most definitely will find him with big shots and then finish the job.
Fury got nothing on AJ, nothing. He is getting his **** kicked in there. I really can`t wait for this fight to happen, so finally to see who really knows boxing well.

Yep Fury in the top spot with 2 stand out names, but the rest of his record has a few names that people would criticise Wilder for fighting, so Fury shouldn't get a pass.

    Busted for peds.

Dodgy decision against McDermott, albeit early in his career.

Illegal KO of Cunningham, should have been a DQ, although for the good of the division it was better that Fury won, Cunningham was never going to do much at HW.

Beating AJ and a few legit contenders might be enough for people to ignore his transgressions. He has too many negative stories for me to regard him as dominant. He hasn't dominated everyone hes faced and should have at least one loss.
