He is going to be the next Chisora , no champion material here.

Since he has already beaten a former champ, a guy who has held a belt, you are simply and obviously wrong on both counts. He has beaten a beltholder, showing that in the right circumstances he can, BY DEFINITION, be one. Chisora, who I like, has never done so.

Hm, but Charles Martin never beat a champ.. does Kownacki beating him years later still qualify for making him champion material?

Helenius has an early window to Clip Kownacki, who doesn't move his head and is easy to hit. But Kownacki has shown an excellent chin, never been down or wobbled as far as I know.

I expect Kownacki to wear Helenius down somewhere before the 7th round.

As always I just want to see a good fight with the legitimate best man on the night getting the win. Good Luck to both

Well, yeah. If guys like Martin, Stiverne, and Peter can do it, then certainly a guy like Kownacki, who is manifestly more talented and has a demonstrated win over one, can do it.

Not to mention that one of the two champs, Joshua by name, has already been beaten by one guy that was thought of by the fans as not championship material.

CowKnockers fights not all that dissimilarly from Chisora and DuHaupas. He does a number on poor old craggy ass Robert, gets him out of there in 4. And I say that as someone who is not high at all on Adam and a fan of Helenius. That being said...

If helenius throws his punches with mean intend he can get the respect from knowacki. often times though helenius just waits till his opponent is done with his combinations and then he might throw something back, I remmeber back then he kod samuel peter with counterpunches but that helenius is no more sadly

I was wrong, I underestimated Helenius, Kownacki is not a world-class fighter after all, I don't want to downplay Helenius's victory, but the fact is, Kownacki doesn't have the weapons to fight for the world title, congratulations to Helenius...

I guess Helenius demonstrated that being able to slip/move and counter a little rather than just winging away in front of someone can be useful. Probably Fat Pole's overwhelm strategy works okay with a certain level of power coming back, but Helenius always had genuine power. Helenius looked in very good shape for this one. That's probably what Fury looks like without the insulation. Helenius looked solid at 238, which is why I don't buy the narrative that Fury needs to be above 250 to be 'strong'.

What were Kownackis handlers thinking turning down that Joshua money. He was always an accident waiting to happen, they should have cashed out while they had the chance.

I've read that Kownacki recently signed lucrative deal with PBC as he is one better ticket sellers. Not good for PBC but the warning sign were there against AK's performance against Martin.
