Someone started a thread on a topic mentioning Frank Bruno and stated he was durable, but I feel there was strong evidence that he wasn`t, after becoming champ outpointing a lackluster McCall he was easily stopped in three rounds by Tyson, but which other heavyweight champs had weak chins and how did their durability compare to Frank`s?
People often say big Frank couldn’t take a punch. The way l see it is a little different. When he got hit, rather than go down, or clinch, bravery got the better of him and he tried to stay on his feet. His ring IQ wasn’t the best !
Ken definitely doesn't belong on that list, his mandible is clearly a notch above the others you mentioned there. I'd throw Hide in there, personally.
Bombardier Billy Wells. British heavyweight, knocked out 11times. Frank Moran beat him and said "Wells was all chin from the waist up '! Joe Beckett, another old time British heavyweight., Sportswriter s of the time said" Beckett was a man who had the disinclination to stand erect.. The uk heavyweight s never stood a chance with those chins.
Bruno used to fall to pieces under pressure Chin wasnt weak, who ever actually ko him? Thats right nobody
Your strong evidence that Bruno wasn’t durable was that he was stopped by Tyson? Lol. More like there is strong evidence that you really hate the guy.
