Tyson dis not hit harder than Lyle and could never do what Lyle did to Foreman!Older Foreman defeat Jaco faster than Tyson and went 12 full rounds with prime Holyfield!Tyson was beaten by old Holyfield!Holyfield said nobody hit harder than Foreman and that was old Foremana and Lyle knocked down prime version of Foreman!Lyle was defo garder puncher! Also Lyle was stronger man!He killed a man with punch and was bigger man with stronger body!Tyson had better chin?????Tyson was knocked by Douglas,Holyfield,Lewis,Page,McBride...
And no one of them hit hard as Shavers which Lyle survived and Foreman who had a war with Lyle!Lyle faced better and stringer competition and was knocked only 2 times but how many times was Tyson knocked! Also Lyle was 36 years old and aged fighter when he faved Foreman where was Tyson at that time????Lewis and McBride knocked him!
Saying that china chined Tyson who was kbocked by ex washed cruiser Holyfield and bum Douglas had better chin than Lyle who survived two hardest punchers is stupid! You compare Lyle with Bruno and Berbick is stupid!Bruno scared china chinned and Berbick who beat aged Ali and was beaten by Holmes was better than Lyle????How many HOFamers Bruno and Berbick fought and win???They fought maybe one and lost!Lyle fought 12 HOF and won against 4!Lyle was better and stronger than anyone Mike ever faced including Holyfield!

Tyson was clearly hurt by a specific blow against evander and Foreman was exhausted against Ali. Not even comparable

No blow from Ali in the early rounds did hurt Foreman

Come on now, Charlie. That 'specific blow' happened in the tenth round. Of a fight he had been getting beaten in quite comprehensively. We won't know how George would have coped with a single blow after getting whupped for ten rounds. He'd sat on his arse and folded his tent two rounds earlier in a fight he was competitive in. As you say, not comparable at all.

FWIW, I agree with the poster who said Ali staggered George with a lead right in the fourth and if you watch it, the commentators agreed too.

    'Foreman staggered by a right.'

    Just sayin'.

    Oh, but it did.

33:30 early in Round 4 if you can bear to watch.

Could you name those 12 HoFers? Can a single era even have 12 HoFers? It means the bar is being set a bit low if that's so, for my money, if that many are getting in.

I'll spot you Ali and Foreman. Who are the other ten?

Stunned, but not staggered, I’d say.

Potaytoes, potartoes, man. Given that he took a couple of involuntary steps backwards, I'd say 'staggered' holds water. Given that he didn't mean to take steps backwards, could he have been 'stunned'?

Whatever one wants to call it, in the scheme of things, Foreman hardly looked bothered by it.
A second of resetting one's feet, in order to get back to the business at hand, is perhaps neither 'potato' nor 'potahto'.

The announcer screamed "Staggered! George Foreman has been staggered!"

You need to learn how to write better because it's difficult to understand what you're saying.

Tyson didn't visit the canvas vs Ruddock, Bruno and James Smith. All 3 SHW punchers. The shots that Tyson took vs Ruddock would have indeed put Lyle on the deck. Even if Lyle did win, he'd have had to get off the deck to do it. When he was old and washed up, SHW puncher extraordinaire Lennox Lewis pummeled him for 8 rounds with clean shots and Tyson stood up to it all until finally succumbing. I highly doubt that even the most prime version of Lyle could stand up to 8 rounds of being pummeled like that by Lennox Lewis. After all, he wasn't exactly walking through the shots of Jerry Quarry.

And no way in hell would Lyle not be stopped if he took the extended beating vs Holyfield and Douglas that Tyson took.
