Anyone see him in the documentary? When he beat Wilder he was screaming “that’s what came out of these balls!!!” Hahaha. He certainly think it’s all about him but is funny anyway.
I thought it was made clear in the third episode of the ITV series that John was responsible for removing Davison from the team. He clearly doesn't like or rate him. He even went as far to insult him, I cannot remember the exact phrase used but it was something along the lines of 'what does a fitness first trainer know about boxing'. Another gem from that series is when Paris said she couldn't spend a week away in a caravan anymore....camera cuts to Big John shaking his head 'She's too posh'.
Yeah I think you can tell both John and Shane have both been major influences in Tyson moving away from Ben.
I get the impression from interviews and other things that Shane has a lot of say in that camp now. Probably for the best, Ben Davison might have been great at getting Fury motivated and happy - but I don't know whether he has the life experience or gravitas to advise Tyson to cut back on the superfluous stuff such as media and interviews. I know it was a bit of fun, but I doubt Shane and John were thrilled about the WWE thing and I notice Tyson seems to have cut back on the after dinner speaking stuff too. They seem pretty old school, but seem to understand what Tyson needs to operate at his peak. I think it's probably for the best. If Tyson really only has a couple of fights left, make sure he's fit and focussed for the next year or two. He has years and years to mess around with WWE and after dinner speaking when he's retired.
I know that Issac Lowe was very worried about his place in Team Fury. He was aware that John and Shane saw him as a negative influence on Tyson and he had to sort out his own discipline to stay on board.
I know John Fury said Shane is the captain of Tysons ship and he had took control of what went on around him, making sure he was fully focused and rested for the Wilder fight. They only had people their who were a benefit and had a role to play. Tyson himself said Shane took it upon himself to take control and organise and to reduce the access media had to him during camp. I think big Shane done a great job for his brother and as Shane puts it I dont blow smoke up his arse. Tyson is a big personality he needs someone not scared of him who tells him it straight.
Every time I see him, no matter what he's doing, I can't get it out of my head what that John Fury is really about. He gouged a man's eye out with his 13 year old son nearby, that's wrong on so many levels. He's scum and doesn't deserve this platform. https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/local-news/father-of-boxing-champion-tyson-fury-853780
You only have to look at the body language of Tyson, Billy Joe and others when they around him, he's a scary dude that you certainly wouldn't mess with.
He had beef with the geezer for years. It's just one of them things. He served his time. Doesn't make him a scumbag.
