If you consider Helenius TKO4 Kownacki a massive upset... don't.

You're on ignore. If I don't respond it's coz I had the luck to not see it. As for your question, I'll name them.

    At CW...
Dorticos, Briedis, Mchunu, Glowacki, Okolie, Lerena, Makabu, Wlodarczyk, Fayfer, Gevor, Kudryashov, Goulamirian, Tabiti, Papin & Masternak...

168? Is Canelo, Saunders, Benevidez, Jacobs Smith, Ryder and Plant not enough for you? Damn, HWs must have a lower bar or somet coz that's a helluva line up compared to the actual elites at HW.

    CW is an awesome division
Just never makes no money for some reason really

Im loving the HW divison right now its fairly open and im still celebrating the end of the Vlad and Vitali era 5 years later
Talent wise its not amazing however

I missed this earlier, fine, I'll repost what I wrote to you.

154 while not the best, is certainly far from mediocre, I'd easily take it over Heavyweight. The list of talent there skillwise, is far deeper than at Heavy and is good and competitive in an, "anything is possible" kind of way. Even the shot old lions are capable of pulling off an upset and it wouldn't floor you, with some pretty amazing up and coming prospects on the way. And I say that as someone who's been very critical of this current era at Super Welter.

Excellent to very good talents: Sergio Garcia, Brian Carlos Castano, Patrick Teixeira Jermell Charlo, Tony Harrison, Jeison Rosario, Julian Williams, Jack Culcay, Erickson Lubin, Michel Soro

Young up & coming excellent to damn good talents: Israil Madrimov, Serhii Bohachuk, Sadriddin Akhmedov, Charles Conwell, Souleymane Cissokho, Bakhram Murtazaliev, Jama Saidi, James Metcalf, Tim Tszyu, Travell Mazion, Aram Amirkhanyan, Madiyar Ashkeyev, Mohammed Rabii

Solid operators rarely in a dull fight: Ted Cheeseman, Carlos Adames, Scott Fitzgerald, Jarrett Hurd, Nathaniel Gallimore, Takeshi Inoue, Mark DeLuca, Cedric Vitu, Sebastien Fundora, Daniel Lewis, Khuseyn Baysangurov, Magomed Kurbanov, Dmytro Mytrofanov,, Jorge Cota, Joe Pigford, Kerman Lejarraga

Still fun to watch occasionally brilliant old lions: Erislandy Lara, Kell Brook, Austin Trout, Jeff Horn

I haven’t insulted you, not sure why the ignore.

Saunders has looked poor recently against mediocre opposition. Benavidez looks good but has beaten nobody, same with Plant. Smith deserved to lose against Ryder who is a solid fighter but not close to elite. Jacobs has lost every time he’s stepped up. After that there’s a huge drop off in talent. Explain to me how these guys rank higher to you than Fury, Joshua, Wilder, Usyk, Whyte etc? Or how the division is more stacked?

I won’t address CW as that’s just ludicrous.

This is how the other divisions stack up against Heavyweight in terms of quality. No hipster bull****, I'm keeping it real.:deal:

Lavender is a lot better, Red is slightly better, Green same, Yellow worse.

One need look no further than until-recently belt-holding and (for a time) consensus top four (if not three, if not two, if not even #1) heavyweight Deontay Wilder, and contrast with until-recently belt-holding and (for a time) consensus top four (if not three, if not two, if not even #1) super welterweight Jarret Hurd.

Wilder is the more powerful of the pair, both straight-up (obviously) and even pound for pound. Hurd is, however, while no Pernell Whitaker, a great deal more skilled than Wilder. Proportionate to his size (which is what the whole p4p concept was originally supposed to be about), Hurd is a better and more complete fighter than Wilder.

Except that now with the dust settling a bit, the picture that emerges is that Hurd was a bit overrated and is maybe not even a top 5 h2h super welter, if that. Whereas, after the Fury rematch and Joshua's round-trip elevator ride versus Ruiz (down to basement level and then up to penthouse again) - you could argue that Wilder is still the second or third best h2h at heavy.

    So a guy who's maybe back-end in 154's top-ten is better p4p than a guy who's HW top-three. Says it all.

What does it mean that I watched this fight in America with my American friends and we are all born and raised and bleed red white and blue and all root for Fury... Brit love maybe. Lol. Just curious after I saw you throw around the term Brit Envy. I’ve always had a soft spot for Brit fighters that started with Bruno and Honeyghan. I’m happy to see you guys are actually good at HW boxing now for so long Brit HW was like a joke over here, they were the punch line.

It means you have good taste and you appreciate the Slick Gypsy style lol.

I reside in the largest and most populous city in the tiny island of Great Britain and trust me there's hardly anyone living over here. It's like a ghost town whenever I go out so we're punching well above our weight as a boxing nation.

    Absolutely!!!!!

I was all smiles back in the day when big Frank snatched that title from McCall and when Honeyghan beat the fight out of Curry. I always admired how well the British fans traveled and took over American arenas, I’m happy to see them doing well. I liked Fury from the first time I saw him box, his trash talking cracked me up and then he’d get in the ring and back it up.

It may have been the greatest road victory for a Finn heavyweight since Gunnar Bärlund TKO7 Jacob "Buddy" Henry Baer across town at MSG 82 years ago, however. :deal:

    Good man.

And British fans think nothing of flying half way across the world to support a Brit Level fighter and if foreigners come over here and put on a good show they'll show them respect too.
