    Benn v McClellan was where I started yesterday, its a fight I watched live. I have mixed feelings on this fight so I didnt post it. McClellan was a monster in the ring but he was also scum of the highest order. That doesn't mean what happened wasn't a tragedy, I just have a hard time feeling any sympathy for him

    Ruiz Joshua worth a mention? To me that was a decent turnaround I thought Joshua had him after he put him down and there was no way I could have predicted what happened after that

    The licks Benn took in that fight though and turned it around wow he was nearly knocked out of the rung in the first and battered in the third I think

    I have sadly. Thats one of the reasons I find it hard to be overly critical of McClellan. When I think of McClellan now my immediate image is of him sitting in that chair, not as a fighter

    I thought how Benn was treated by his family was out of order like, I don’t know where I saw it or even if I’ve made it up in my head but I seem to vaguely remember that the only boxer that went to see him and helped him financially was Roy Jones jr, did I just make that up or have I got it wrong but for some reason that sounds right????

    I seem to remember Nigel Benn donated quite a bit of cash to help cover McClellan's medical bills. You are right about McClellan's family, they blamed Benn for the injuries. I think that was about money too honestly

    Yeah, Jones helped out financially. I really can't comment on McClellan's family. He's not my Son / Brother / Nephew.
