Are you serious...Naz was a chancer until he ran into a disicplined Boxer. Roy was a boxing GOD imo...

I don’t know anything about the circumstances leading up to the Barrera fight, just the outcome. Naz was unorthodox in a way that seemed careless to me. He does have a victory over Kelly but who else did he beat? In hindsight, Naz was more of a marketing creation, a really good one that I enjoyed watching but a fake champ who mainly beat overmatched cans.

Roy’s career veered off the tracks at the end but in his prime he fought lots of top guys (and a bunch of taxi drivers and security guards). The way Naz ended his career casts a long and dark shadow. He never came back after that loss to prove he wasn’t a hype creation.

Naz beat Augie Sanchez who beat Mayweather in the amateurs!

don’t know where I was going with that really.
But yeah your right look at the way Naz ended his career in defeat & obesity!

once his fragile self confidence was bursted.
It kind of showed he knew all long he could not contend with the absolute elite!

where as RJJ accomplished so much more & beat an ATG or 2 while he was at it.
As well as moving up in weight to freaking HW to take Ruiz strap!
All while also looking spectacular as Naz while crushing cans of his own!

    ez answer ese!

Naz would spark him if they were the same size. Hell, I'd give the 126lb Naz a good chance of shattering even the HW version of Roid's disgusting old lady glass mandible and if he was on Roid's enhancements I'd bet the house on it.

The most athletically gifted fighters ever are Roy Jones, Meldrick Taylor, Mike Tyson and Yuriorkis Gamboa

You can have all the athleticism in the world but if you're packing glass up top it only takes one shot and your athleticism is taken out of the equation. Did Naz possess the single shot power to spark Roid out cold in HL reel fashion? Unquestionably. But he also possessed the speed to land the shot. Who did Roid ever fight who was even 25% as fast as Naz? I'll wait.

I'd add in SRL, SRR, Macho Camacho, Kenny Norton and sneakily Michael Dokes!

I've noticed you're quite hateful toward a guy who tested positive for something that was at the time over the counter in an era where nobody cared and probably everyone juiced.

    Seems quite irrational.

He fought on so far past his prime and got KO'd by such mediocrities that even the biggest hater wouldnt have any dislike left.
Besides I always thought he was a great commentator

The Ripped Fuel excuse is pure BS.

But no I don't hate Roy at all. I don't even dislike him. Never have. In fact, I've actually always liked him.

    I would add SRL,
    Muhammad Ali,
    Floyd patterson
Manny Pacquiao(explosive fast twitch fighters aren't supposed to be able to maintain such a workrate, also his aging seems abnormally slow despite all the wars)

    Lomachenko.

Tyson fury despite his body shape is also freakishly agile for his size
