    Tunney of 1926 vs the Foreman of 1974. Tunney had the style to prevail but could he withstand that freight train that was a prime George Foreman?

    No disrespect to Tunney, a great lightheavy /very good heavy, but I don't see him doing well here.
    Perhaps he wins at least 4 rounds before Foreman crashes in and stops him.

    OK Rocky Jim, I'll give you that. If Tunney can survive those first danger rounds, then that's when his ko power starts to drop. It'll be hard for Gene tho to get past those booming shots, head and body, from Foreman.
    I'll admit that Tunney was a tough guy and he'd be up for the challenge. Be the hardest fight of his life.

    Put them in a big ring, and Tunney has a chance. Foreman was known to gas. Tunney could box and move all night and had a good jab

    I mean Tunney's lateral movement would give Foreman a few issues but he cuts off the ring really well, has longer reach, taller and has so much muscle on him. So I don't think he can keep Foreman off.

    This is also a boxer who drew the color line
