His frame is not going to take 40 extra pounds. Especially not at 35. Wilder has naturally athletic build. Really he should have been a cruiser like his brother but more money at heavyweight.

Wilder's best chance at winning a rematch is to come out slugging, like the Mike Tyson he seriously thinks he could beat and like he should have done the first two fights. That's the only way he'll ever beat Fury, by making him back up and catching him good with those power shots

Regarding the coming out throwing/slugging, I’m quite surprised that a lad of his explosive athletic ability only seems to throw single shots. He actually appears goosed when he throws more than 2 shots in succession and goes in his shell for a bit afterwards.

Cos he has poor balance. Dude cannot throw more then 2 - 3 if he really tries well balanced shots. Even his 1-2 is poor.

At what age was Mike Tyson when Rooney took over from Atlas?. Wiki says 15 years old, and if true Atlas was only 25 at that time.

I find it hard to believe Tyson was the product of a trainer in his early to mid twenties. Seems far more likely to me that he (Atlas) was mostly just following instructions from Cus and doing what he couldn't i.e. taking him on the pads etc. Atlas would have been 25 years old when Tyson won gold at the Junior Olympics in 1981.

Wilder's weight can easily be put on his legs, dude is built like a scarecrow. He is extremely top heavy, which to a little extent doesn't help with his balance. I feel it would make him a bigger puncher as well, being that the kinetic chain starts from the ground up.

Wilder best chance is to learn to adjust his distance correctly. When Fury is too close, Wilder needs to be backing up so he is back in long range ready to throw. But he needs to start upping his workrate. Wilder has such poor output, dude has to start creating opportunities by throwing way more punches IMO.

Utter crap. You aren't starting to build legs at 35 years old. There isn't a magic pill my friend, I wish there was.

Yeah I don't really see Wilder putting much muscle on his legs. Especially not 40 pounds worth.
