Fury came to fight at around the same weight as the McDermitt rematch in his early 20s, well within his natural chub range, the 'extra weight' was clearly just Fury not dieting as much. Wilder came in at a career heaviest, but was lean as ever. The ectomorph guy that 'struggles to maintain his weight' just put on a stack of lean muscle for this clash. Wilder's weight was the must suspect thing about that rematch. So it's important to deflect and talk about gloves slapping around during throwaway feint shots.
