Whoever counts WBA (regular) as a world title, and there are many, needs their head checked. That includes all who count Manuel Charr as a world champion, along with Alexander Povetkin, Lucas Browne, Scott Quigg and Saul Alvarez at super-middleweight...
Quite right, good sir. I've noticed a growing trend for people name checking IBO champions. The guillotine is too good for them.
I think Moloney will win a proper world title before he retires and while Jason is in a tough division and obviously below the top guys like Inoue, I still think he is a good chance to win a world title also.
First the whole title got fragmented by each governing body , then they managed to fragment each of their belts , what a load of nonsense. We all know who the top blokes in their division are .
Yes WBA is a greedy corrupt organisation who has further diluted the world championship and while we do know who the top guys are in a lot of the divisions, the WBA due to there greed in wanting sanctioning fees have just further muddied the waters to who the best guys in each division are. With the major organisations already having regional belts as pathways to the world title for fighters, these "regular" world championships the WBA have serve no purpose,i'm pretty sure on multiple occasions there has been the ridiculous situation, because of interim titles that there was 4 different WBA world champions in a division at 1 time .
I think the WBA started all this cra polla when they made Kessler their super champ and Mundine regular champ . I could be wrong though .
