    There's no way to know if Willard couldn't have beaten Ruddock, Grant, Rahman, Holy, Tyson, Bruno, Tucker, Morrison, Vitali, Tua, Briggs, Mercer and Mason. For all we know, Willard goes through all of them in 1 round a piece.

    There is no "we" here. For what I know, everyone of those fighters demolishes the best version of Willard. You seem to think otherwise. I will stick to what I know.

    Don't be willfully ignorant. Lewis has a much better, much deeper track record against much better opposition.

    If that happened they would just flip the rhetoric, and say that Lewis was a bum all along, and that all the other super heavyweights would have destroyed Dempsey.

    Everybody in the classic forum holds way too much respect for pre-1950s fighters. They ain't that good man.
    Of course there are some freak exceptions like Sugar Ray Robinson. But he still would not beat Mayweather today.
