Horndog v Junior Tszyu should definitely go ahead. People need some entertainment. Great opportunity for boxing to fill the void.
^^^^^ Where's the dislike button Zoley ? boxing cards around the world are falling over like nine pins
Makes you wonder when this will end. only sports that are surviving at the moment are those with no spectators, how long that can continue is anyones guess.
Mate this virus is decimating the whole of Europe at the moment and in most countries it's still in it's infancy , it really is starting to be a concern for normal every day people, I've had work cancelled etc , not too good an outlook for the self employed to say the least , boxing will like every other sport take a back seat in peoples priorities for at lesst six months I reckon , Australia is an island at the end of the day you have a great chance to control things , good luck .
Many Boxing , MMA and Martial Arts Gyms face financial ruin from the Coronavirus and many never recover in Aust. The consequences are far reaching for the greater community. Gyms help save the youth and adults of tomorrow from straying to the wrong path and i have seen first hand the benefits of Police Boy Clubs. And it saddens me that the youths of today will not gain this experience as i did if they disappear.
I agree Jupp , the knock on effects of this virus in sports like boxing are going to be felt not only in sports but in the community in general for many years to come , I've noticed some not taking this virus too seriously but mate it's very depressing here at the moment it's killed hundreds here in the uk and THOUSANDS in Italy & Spain , Do not underestimate this virus lads .look at the news and listen and take government & health experts advice seriously ...good luck .
Some of Aust best keeping active during Cornavirus shutdown. This content is protected Justis Huni staying focus on Olympic dream. https://www.news.com.au/sport/olymp...-dream/video/f1460787cff5afcece8446363dd146ee
The Olympics getting pushed back a year will suit Justis. The Asia & Oceania Olympic qualifying tournament showed he wasn't quite ready to rule the world. It should mean he gets more chances to fight those top two Super Heavies from Uzbekistan & Kazakhstan before the Olympics take place. That's all he's really lacking I think. Experience against the top level guys. Some talk this morning that Horndog v Junior Tszyu could be back on the agenda & fought solely for the benefit of a television audience. I hope that happens b/c no sport for six months will be hard to take.
The PPV would likely have to be picked by pubs, clubs and casinos to be viable. Only way i see it going through is if Tszyucat and Horndawg take a big pay cut because no live gate and only domestic PPV won't generate anywhere near the scrilla they would have forecasted.
True and seeing Horn get beat up again(hopefully)would be a huge morale boost. Hoping that fight still happens.
