    Again he could reject fight with Ali but he take It and beat poor old man with Parkinson!
    Did you catch that Holmes interview at the DogHouse Boxing website? It
    was a good interview. I was surprised to hear Larry say that Carl
    Williams was one of his toughest opponents and that Michael Dokes
    would have given him a lot of trouble had they ever fought.

    But the most interesting thing he said was that he could have whipped
    a prime Ali. It's hard to imagine the Ali who beat Cleveland Williams
    losing to Holmes!

    Holmes was damned if he did and damned if he didn't take the Ali fight ,it was a no win situation imo.
    Williams gave Holmes a very close fight.
    I think Holmes would run Ali close prime for prime.

    FOTC Ali would beat Holmes very badly and 1967 would win by TKO!
    Holmes take fight and fight was not title fight!He accept fight with Ali and beating!Atleast he didn't act like ******* Berbick who want to really to injured poor man!

    We are dealing with Tysonites here!They prepared new excuses!
    They still think that Mike in his prime would beat Ali,Marcian,Frazier and Foreman even if they knoe Douglas beat him but they had all sort of excuses!

    I don't think any version of Ali stops Holmes,though he would probably take a decision and ,in a trilogy Larry may well win one. Holmes was the reigning WBC champion when he defended his title against Ali.

    Holmes best wins:Shavers,Cooney,Berbick,Weaver,Norton,Spoon,Cobb,Bonecrusher Smith...
    Sorry but according to their record Ali fought much better competition!
