You don't think Holmes easily beat Ali? What rounds did you give to Ali?
Holmes was a sparring partner for Ernie Shavers too,how did their two fights turn out?

 

Old Earnie almost killed Holmes and prime Ali was just much better than that!

 

The Shavers v Holmes fight was not even close.

You didn't reply to my question about how many rounds you gave Ali against Holmes, but for your information, Holmes pitched a shut out.
It was a one sided beat down even with Holmes taking his foot off the pedal a few times.

This is the sort of thing I think about when I read or hear about Greb roughing up Dempsey in sparring sessions.

Shavers knocked Holmes but could not do that to Ali proves that Ali had better chin and power!

You stated Ali gave Holmes trouble and Shavers nearly killed Holmes ,both statements are incorrect, as I proved by posting the score cards of those fights.
When you are proven wrong ,without acknowledging your correction,you change tack and go off in a different direction,just as you won't acknowledge that Ali was 35 years old, not 40 as you stated. There really doesn't seem much point in debating with you if you are going to continue in this fashion.

 

Ali defeated Shavers easier than Holmes!
And that was older man!

Why Shavers could not knock Ali like that?

 

Holmes stopped Shavers in11 rds Shavers went the distance with Ali and won a third of the rounds.

Do you actually understand that?

He did stopped Shavers who was also older but he did that because he know he would not survive again that right!
Ali qas never knocked down by Shavers!
He got decision past prime but was not knocked!What if Shavers fought 1988 Holmes?He wozld killed Holmes!
