Growing up we knew pretty much everybody on my estate and can spot outsiders a mile off.

Come on mate. Every supermarket including the low-cost ones like Aldi have initiated schemes to stop panic buying. You're not telling me that some corner shop with Potwash the amateur bouncer on the door is actually doing anything significant.

Hopefully the schemes to stop panic buying at the supermarkets will have some effect.
But half the aisles at the supermarkets were well and truly empty by 9.30am this morning in my area. So I guess if you get there at 6am and queue for the opening stampede you're alright.

@Unforgiven the expert on economics is not aware of automation. Amazing.

What the hell has automation got to do with anything ?
Are you seriously putting forward the thesis that millions of currently employed people can be made unemployment in a short period due to an economic collapse and wouldn't suffer ?
    Because of "automation" ?
    It doesn't work like that.

It's fine saying I'm wrong and the economy won't collapse. Or that if it goes into recession it won't be collapse too badly.
But to imply a collapsing economy and a rapid increase in mass unemployment wouldn't even matter in this day and age is a little bit mental.

But, hey, I'll let you guys get on with it.
    I'm out of here.

Rumours are rife of a lock down on Friday. I reckon it’s very likely in the capital.

I'm the first to admit I got all this wrong. At first I couldn't give a damn. But I've woke up to the reality and what COULD happen.

Hand on heart this is happening. I was sick of people coming in there fancy cars banging on about how they have been driving for hours and this is the best stocked shop they seen. Then again someone saying it's the best stocked shop in London and they will tell there family.

@TonyHayers i got it wrong about the fight 100%. To be fair I was more trolling nasalspray because I don't like the guy. This isn't the fight. This is reality mate. It's happening, you can believe it or not that's up to you.

I'm cut from a different cloth to you. Like someone already said, we spot a outsider a mile away where I'm from. We all haven't lived a sheltered life like yourself. You need to wake the f*** up.

PEOPLE ARE SAVAGES. No one gives a flying f*** about anyone else. It's not the virus I'm worried about. It's people.

They don't live in the real world mate. IF s*** hits the fan we will be surviving, they will be dying. Simple as that.

What a laughable straw man. Absolutely nobody at all anywhere ever is saying mass unemployment wouldn’t matter.

Ps. Potwash is a top poster. You have to appreciate that we are from all walks of life, ages, social demographs and all that, on here. What might sound odd or extreme to one is the complete norm to others....i think it’s worth bearing that in mind when posting the snobby comments.

    @TonyHayers

You were sceptical about my prediction that this crisis could bankrupt and totally ruin Scottish football.

Bear in mind that Hearts are debt-free and one of the largest and possibly the highest revenue-generating club outside Rangers and Celtic.
