Fury is the one getting punched in the head, so I'm willing to take his word for it.

Pretty much everyone who has fought Wladimir has said he has monstrous power in both hands, so it's at least plausible, although it sure seems to me that Wilder is #1 when it comes to 1 punch kayos.

Tyson is a beast man, I think he proved twice in the first fight that he could take wilders punch

Wlad doesnt put full force in every punch. That we know. I'd say a wlad right flush full power is more devastating yhen Wilders.

When he beat Stiverne the first time he was rated at No. 2 by The Ring, think he was still No. 10 for the rematch and Ortiz was also top 10 both times too. Wilder's resumé is thin but some of those guys he faced got more credit than they deserved too.

i'm not sure how well this stacks up given that Wilder knocked him down twice, one of those a longish nine count. well, i suppose am sure, it's a nonsense.

Wlad's resume of wins probably exceeds all three of them combined.

I'd have to rate Wladimir Klitschko as a bigger/better puncher than Wilder, yes.
Wlad knocked out lots of proven ranked contenders.
Wilder has knocked out one decent contender (twice, Ortiz).

Steve Cunningham knocked Fury flat on his back too, Neven Pajkic knocked Fury down hard too.
Neither of them would be rated as bigger punchers than Wlad either. Nowhere near.

I think it's a bit silly comparing two huge punchers like this to begin with. After a certain point it just becomes quibbling. Fighter A might say one guy hits harder than the other and fighter B might say the opposite. Who's to say who's right, and does it matter at the end of the day? All of Wilder's opponents would have gone down to a Wlad right hand just as badly as they did against Wilder, and almost everyone Wlad laid out with a right hand Wilder would have laid out had he caught them in a similar way.

I mean, what Fury says is basically correct. There's so much adrenaline flying during a fight and past a certain point you don't even feel a hard puncher's punches until later when the fight is over. Julius Francis talked about fighting Mike Tyson and he said that he didn't even realise until he watched the tape that he'd been knocked down five times and he didn't even really feel the pain until he got home after the fight and had to spend hours in the bath.

Unless there's an objective scientific method to measuring punching power it's really pointless to talk about 'who hits the hardest' amongst hard hitters, because any evidence is going to be anecdotal

Ortiz was old, and almost won the first fight. Ortiz gassing had a lot to due with the stoppage in the first fight. I still don't see anyone in the top ten that was under the age of 37 that Wilder stopped.

Recently Fury said he didn't hit that hard. No one every said that about Wlad.

I am not sure how you are claiming Stiverne was ranked 2nd back prior to Jan 2015 when Wlad Klitschko was Number 1 undisputed champion then. Who did Stiverne beat to merit being number 2?

Also by the time of the rematch Stiverne wasn’t ranked anything like number 10. He had done nothing since the first fight. Who did he beat after the first Wilder loss?

He was ranked as the No. 2 contender by the Ring in 2014 when Wlad was the Ring champ and Povetkin the No. 1 contender. He was ranked 6th in 2015 and 7th in 2016. He dropped out of the rankings in 2017 after Wilder destroyed him. I don't think he should've been ranked that highly personally but he was anyhow.

The facts are the facts i guess

I am struggling to understand how someone can be ranked so high off the back of beating Areola. Who himself got the fight with Stiverne based on beating Eric Molina. None of these guys remotely qualify you to be highly ranked.
