It does mate, in fact take the chin out of it and just dynamite power can cause atg problems, Shavers wasn't particularly good at anything but he could punch, he had Holmes in all sorts of trouble. Louis's one problem was he could be hurt and he aint taking Tua off his feet with the weight difference and chin. Lewis danced an moved, took no chances really with Tua, Louis wasn't a mover and is much much smaller than the likes of Lewis. Im telling ya, its a bad style match up for Louis

    I know, agreed
He has some great wins, but the bum a month was worse than Wilders opposition

It hurts me to say it but Tua does have certain attributes that the great Louis would not have liked to face.

Joe himself stated that he didn’t like facing short, swarming types who rushed him and Arturo Godoy showed that was correct as did Marciano ( even though Joe was shot ).

It’s a bit like Ali or Holmes vs Wlad. Both are greater champions and much tougher mentally and physically than Wlad but Wlad does bring things to the table that neither would have faced before or liked.

Louis would have to hurt Tua early to get his respect or he might be in trouble.

    Cheers All.

    No, it absolutely wasn't!

    Not even close!

The "bum of the month club" included many men ranked in the top ten, and some ranked in the top one.

If Wilder fought somebody ranked in the top ten, everybody broke out the champagne!

Every champion of the 30s and 40s, was fighting men ranked in the top ten by Ring Magazine, with the odd exception!

Sharkey or Carnera, would not even be able to imagine what Wilder did, in terms of milking the belt!

Ridiculous statement. Also impossible to claim unless you were around back then. Louis dominated his era, Tua did not. Simple as that

Tua is really something mythical here. He's wrong style for Tyson, wrong style for Louis... I mean how he didn't become a champion is the biggest mystery of boxing history...

Sorry but you are a complete joke and your posts are ignorant like hell. Prime Louis weighed 197-207 and Tua 226 pounds so tell me my dear simpleton... 10 pounds of difference? Lol

Tua probably gets knocked out...and I know how good his chin is.
Tua wasn’t great at controlling distance like Frazier, Marciano, Tyson. That’s why he was beat by guys he probably should have beat. I don’t think he is able to put Louis where he wants him. Louis beats him to the punch and Tua goes in a shell

Louis stopped a lot of durable fighters, doubt that it wouldn't bs possible with Tua.
