Not a puncher, though his power is respectable enough. He's a poor man's slickster, can ostensibly operate inside and out and in-between, just depends on the division he's in as to how effective he'll be. As soon as the guys are more his size and he doesn't have weight and range to throw around, he can only give them rounds, maybe take two to four of them and ultimately come up short. Best asset is really his durability, without it he'd have been embarrassingly KTFO more than once.
Counter Puncher. Similar to Canelo, just levels below him. To be a great counter puncher you need excellent defense, which Broner doesn't have.
Pressure counterpuncherm, same as Teofimo. And probably a better one than Teofimo when he was at 135.
I wanted to see Broner fight Mattyhsse back yrs ago at 140. I think it could have been an interesting fight. One I would have favored Lucas in due to his heavy hands back then. Plus Lucas could box too. Bad matchup for Adrien
Agreed. He tries to present himself as a counter puncher and someone who can potshot but that's not his bread and butter. His whole career to me is an identity crisis
Hes an undisciplined fighter, that had all the physical tools needed to be great but chose to party and do drugs in between fights. Soo he can improved on any of his skills. Hes a very poor mans mayweather
He looks great when his opponents allow him to dictate pace and space. Once he gets in there with someone that punches at will and keeps coming forward, he struggles.
He was awful. All Broner had at 135 was a good counter hook, he didn`t throw the right hand enough, he wsn`t world class at all.
