    All those fighters were older when facing Tommy than when facing Tyson who wasn`t at his peak while he fought these fighters, Tyson was still very green when he met Tillis, he was far better v Thomas, but started that fight badly before Rooney told him how to solve Thomas`s style then he really started landing, at that point Mike was improving every fight, Rooney wasn`t in his corner for the Ruddock fights and Tyson admitted in an interview that he was bored with boxing by that point, in any case Mike was far better than Morrison anyway and would have stopped him with ease, he was far more skilled, no comparison.

    The article never said he was better then Tyson. Just a harder puncher.

    No doubt Morrison could crack hard with the left hook. I don't think any of us on this forum can say for certain who hit harder but there is no denying that Tyson was the far superior fighter in pretty much every way.

    I don't see why this couldn't be true. Two hard punchers but one is a significantly better fighter, particularly faster, so he's more effective with his power.

    I'm not surprised. People tend to overrate the best fighters power. Power is one of many skillsets that is required to be the best.
