I'm not talking about the boxers who had the one hitter quitters like Mike Tyson, Tommy Hearns, Or Earnie Shavers. I'm saying the guys that would beat their opponents into an Oblivion over the course of a long fight. I noticed these fighters tend to cause cuts more often as well. The ones I can think of at the top of head are Muhammad Ali, Marvin Hagler, or Andrew Golota. They have been none to beat most of their opponents into submission by their amazing accuracy and volume punching.

Any other fighters that come to mind?

You mean guys who outclassed people to stoppages?

Charles and Monzón are the two to come to mind. Both were ring-savy masters who dictated pace and distance, but they liked to unload ferocious offence.

I'd also say that Golota and Ali don't actually fit the same mold as Hagler.

I'm assuming you mean battering as when I saw bartering I thought of Canelo trying to play Smith and BJS against each other in negotiations.

LaMotta was a guy that would beat the hell out of you whilst finishing up with a <30% ko ratio, vicious fighter with a nasty body attack, bump him forward 50 years or even 30 and you'd see his ko ratio skyrocket (although conversely he'd also have been stopped more)

Jack Dempsey. Never stopped hitting you. If his opponent went down he'd wait for them to get up and then would hit them until they went down again

I guess Roberto Duran did this on occasions. He seemed to toy with some opponents like a cat does with a mouse. Can’t think of any off the top off my head ( l have 2, Davey Moore ? Ken Buchanan ? ). He at times seemed to systematically take his rivals apart over time, almost enjoying his work whilst doing it.

Vitali Klitschko stopped quite a few of his opponents in the later rounds from his prolific punching style. If Andrew Golota fits the criteria then I'd imagine Vitali Klitschko would, too.

    Obed Sullivan - RTD - 9/12
    Ross Purrity - TKO 11/12
    Vaughn Bean - TKO 11/12
    Larry Donald - TKO 10/12
    Corrie Sanders - TKO 8/12
    Danny Williams TKO 8/12
    Samuel Peter - RTD 8/12
Juan Carlos Gomez - TKO 9/12
    Chris Arreola - RTD 10/12
    Albert Sosnowski - KO 10/12
    Shannon Briggs - UD 12/12
    Tomasz Adamek - TKO - 10/12

Robin Reid had to fight Sven Ottke and Roger Tilleman at the same time. He battered one and would of been well within his rights to smack about the other.

Cuevas? DeJesús 2&3? Brooks? You could name virtually every Lightweight title defence tbh.
