Yeah I know a guy whose jobs entailed timber cutting in the Australian bush primarily and as a slaughter man in the winter months when the forest was closed off due to rain. Both extremely tough manual jobs. He was only 5’9 but built like a brick. Massive arms, thick trunk, wide hips, and powerful legs. He was built for power but he was also explosively fast. He coached our local football team and in his 40’s was still the strongest man (and there were some big strong farm boys amongst that lot) and fastest runner over 50 metres. Just a powerhouse and a guy who even now he’s in his 70’s I wouldn’t fancy having angry at me (he could fight like a threshing machine too I might add). This guy like the ones you mentioned never did any strength training in his life yet like the ones you mentioned was an awesome physical specimen honed by a dose of good genetics and a sh1t tonne of brutal hard graft.
That pretty much sums it up although I meant to say he was built for strength but was also fast. Do you want me to give you his hair and eye colour too? Brown and I don’t know are the answers.
G'day Griff, mate those timber cutters are bloody hardcore eh. I watched the legendary axeman David Foster do his thing one year at our local show here in north New South Wales n I was in awe of his coordination, speed, strength and stamina. The bloke was built like a human grizzly bear but he was also nimble as. My old man who went well used to reckon those human bears were the type of fellas to avoid in hand to hand combat as they usually had heads like concrete as well as being surprisingly fast. Canoeing was a regular feature in UK Superstars, ideal for Boxers. I remember Alan Minter obliterating the competition and doing possibly an extra 10 meters as he went almost diagonally and hit the bank just after the finishing line. Strangely, although top level guys like Minter, John Conteh and Dave "Boy" Green featured at various times in the 70's and were immensely fit, I don't remember them doing terribly well.
Razor Rickshaw Reynolds, the acclaimed 1990 heavyweight was 6'4, 235lb. Could move light on his feet and shoot out his scotty piston like jab with ease. His muscles and strength and conditioning regimen was far more evolved than Fraziers. Razor Rickshaw Reynolds KO Frazier in 4
So you mean that when the criminal was unconscious, Tom picked him up & literally crippled him for life against the lamp post?
Thanks JC good to hear from you mate. You’re not wrong there. Dave Foster was unbeatable for a long time on the axe and I’ve heard accounts of his amazing physical strength and watched him in action in TV. Just a brute but by all account a gentle giant...luckily. The bloke I was talking about played football with my old man and another clubs resident hard man dubbed him “cement head” one match which was a great line until our timber cutter belted him and sat him right on his arse. Tough buggers and not to be trifled with.
Fijian Tom said he is in a wheel chair now. Tom was a enforcer for a well know Asian Mr Big and Tom had that Lenny Mckean / Meng ( Haku ) aura about him. He made a **** load of money but womanising dwindle his fortune and he now lives in a housing commission. I met Tom at a Dojo i use to train at and my Sifu use to recruit for Hing ( Mr Big. ) I met my Sifu for catch up in mid 2000's and he introduce to his latest recruit for a well known Bikkie Gang. A man mountain who later fought in the UFC under the name Super Samoan.
Thanks for the information man. Normally I would say smashing a man you knocked unconscious so he was crippled would be Monstrous. But if he really raped a girl & no justice could be done... Hard tpo get to exercised about that.
