Mate, are we talking about prime Muhammad Ali, 1964-1967? Ali from 1970-1975 would have had more problems with WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury, because Ali did not have all the gifts that he had in his prime years, footwork, reflexes, stamina, and speed. He was better at getting in someone's head, which affected many. Not to boast, my college degree is in psychology, and if a person with Ali's mind games were to do that with a person with some sort of hidden mental issues, it could hinder their fight plan, because they might be playing into Ali's fight plan, fighting angry. But I do think it would have been an interesting fight. This is just an opinion.

Take your rose tinted glasses off

Forning over fighters who aren't even heavyweights by today's standards cannot beat modern heavyweights.

I agree with you, the champ Fury is no 6'6 Ernie Terrell, Fury is better.

Let's not get carried away guys.

At time of writing, Fury has only beaten two genuinely elite opponents (Klitschko and Wilder).

Let's say three given that I can't for the life of me score the first Wilder fight as a draw.

Yes these performances were very impressive, but it is still a thin sample to work with.

The unexpected can happen very suddenly in the heavyweight division, and the same people who are lauding Fury now, will be very quick to dismiss him if he suffers a bad loss!.

    Vitali
    Bowe
    Tyson
    Ali
    Foreman
    Lewis
    Holmes
    Holyfield
All easily beat him. Beating Wilder is not that impressive.

Mate, could you do me a big favor? I am not allowed to post, I do not have privileges, but If you could post, Tyson Fury vs Ernie Terrell, I know that Fury would win, but I would like to see the opinions. Thanks.
