Skillwise, yes, Fury is the best since Lennox. ATG ranking wise, Wlad has a better argument since he was the man for so long.
(You can make a good argument for Vitali in terms of overall skills)

Wlad is closer to Lewis than Fury is to Wlad.

I rate his win and the manner of it as the best heavyweight win since Holyfield beat Tyson.

No question. Fury has a lot of work to do to reach Wlad's level.

There should be NO question about this. He ruled the division for a decade. Yes, it's a split title era, but no one other than Holmes and Louis had more defenses. Fury isn't close to that kind of accomplishment.

He probably has the best 2 singular wins since Lennox but Wlad’s long reign cannot be dismissed.. Fury needs to make at least 5 defenses he’s yet to make one defense..

Lewis would have smashed Wilder, knocked him out and would have beaten Fury up.

This era of heavyweights are average.

I believe that the WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury is a good champion and fighter, but we still have to wait and see before we start calling him great. As mentioned before on my previous posts, he needs to earn his stripes as many greats before him did. It would mot be fair to Tyson to judge him at this stage. He needs more exposure against good fighters to properly judge his skills. His title winning victory was impressive and well deserved, but it is one fight. He needs to face the likes of Anthony Joshua, or perhaps Snicker Man himself, Andy Ruiz. But Fury is a very talented athlete. And the third Wilder fight has been cancelled due to the Corona Virus. It has been rescheduled for Oct 2 2020.
