    Doubtful

Its why these kind of fights are pointless
MMA guy has far to many advantages in the cage

You think a fight Randy`s level could have taken down McGregor? Conor`s footwork in the octagon is brilliant, Khabib is better at taking guys down than Randy was P4P.

Im not huge on MMA if im honest so will take your word for it
Tbh i read the question wrong, i answered thinking the thread was asking who was the best boxer to appear in MMA

From what i have seen most MMA guys are pretty lousey at boxing
They are very entertaining when tading blows however

Probably Stipe Miocic, he has a good understanding of the fundamentals. I think this was best displayed in his win over Ngannou. Cody Garbrandt is pretty good as well he just tends to get too wild and start swinging for the fences which lead to him getting stopped his last 3 fights.

GSP is one of the greatest MMA fighters of all-time, I hope you`re only laughing at his boxing skills, though I don`t think you should really.

no, ive been following from day 1. I believe not only does he have the best boxing as far as doing a boxing match but he applies his boxing the best in mma fights aswell.

masvidal is 2 or 3 levels above gsp in boxing. id say gsps best punch is his jab and it is not on masvidals level. Masvidal has better boxing defense and a wider arsenal of punches.

Easily Connor McGregor come on guys I know khabib caught him but that was one mistake Floyds been caught quite a few times and Nate Diaz trains with Andre Ward so of course he was able to keep up with Connor Ward even said he thinks Diaz could succeed in Boxing
    • Sparred 12 Rounds with a 2 time world Champion boxer and from the footage released scored a knockdown and outboxed him
    • Went ten rounds with Floyd Mayweather and won the 1st round on all three scorecards and then won Rounds 2 and 3 on another
    • Most UFC fighters who trade hands with him are knocked out

Mousasi would be my pick. Nasty jab and sound fundimentals. Rarely gets caught with anything. I think he could have been a contender at CW if he ever made the jump to boxing. Look how easily he dealt with Musashi and Fujimoto in K-1.

Then again theres also Kharitonov who beat the crap out of Helenius in the amateurs only to get robbed. Also gave Hrgovic the fight of his life in WSOB. Both times this was the fatter version of Kharitonov who had been derailed by injuries and reduced to a brawler. Early 00s Kharitonov without a doubt the best boxer ever in MMA.

GSP hospitalized Koscheck with his jab alone. Broke his orbital bone. Was way ahead of most of his peers with his jab and boxing at the time....

Diaz doesn`t punch with any authority, boxers would walk through him essily in a boxing ring. Diaz is not an elite MMA fighter either.

I honestly believe Kimbo was better at boxing than most MMA guys. He just had poor stamina and no takedown defense so he was dominated on the ground.

Masvidal is pretty good. He definitely has some skill. Anderson Silva too. I think Rampage was a decent boxer too, good with counters and parrying.

Conor is a decent one too. Solid punches.
