is he an ATG, or is his resume simply not strong enough? love him as a fighter, but wanted to get your thoughts on this
My definition of an ATG is top 100 P4P ever, or top 10 in their weight class ever. GGG isn't. Based on résumé, yes. He probably could've got it if he moved up, though.
one of the criticisms i hear against GGG is that he only knocks out guys coming up to middleweight but never natural middleweights
I agree with George...nearly. If he wants the extra money have the third fight, personally I don't think he has anything to prove in or out of the ring.
You still crying about that bro? I mean, even Abel Sanchez thought Canelo won. S***, you're going against what legends like Duran, Foreman, Chavez, Leonard, Mike Tyson thought who won. Hell, you're going as far as saying he got stiffed! How does that make you look. ATG fighters: Canelo beat Golovkin Abel Sanchez: I think Canelo deserved the victory. Teenage internet boxing fan: It was a ROBBERY!!!!!!
As a former big Golovkin fan, and just a regular fan now, I'd like him to fight until he feels its not worth the punishment anymore.
The first fight? Sanchez said that about the first fight? I have no issues with the 2nd fight going to Canelo. Hell, on the night I scored it for Canelo, and have scored it a draw since. To be really honest, I've detached a lot from most modern fighters anyway. Over the last couple months I've almost exclusively watched older guys aside from the major fights. GGG/Canelo means very little to me. Hence why I haven't really argued about it.
