Hey everyone, Is there any other footage of Midget Wolgast out on the Internet? The only footage I can find is the bout with Small Montana and a HaNZAgod highlight, which seems to have additional footage I can't seem to find. Apparently a bout with Juan Zurita was on YouTube, and I found a link ( This content is protected ) but it says video is unavailable. It anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it.
Yeah the Zurita fight was on YouTube but isn’t now. Part of it is in the highlight video though. I uploaded the Montana fight, but I believe Wolgast was struggling with the weight then so not really a true indication of his abilities. That’s about it, there’s nothing else. Still, more than we have of Genaro!
I think it's worth downloading footage because of how often it's taken down in a few years (or the channel is closed).
It isn't just YouTube though. I cannot seem to find film on any website, even though it was previously uploaded. You think it would be somewhere.
I suggest you searching through media archives. I don't know much about collecting boxing footage, but I am a huge collector of 1950-80 NBA basketball games. Sites such as AP Archive, eFootage, HistoricFilms or any local TV archive can have something extremely rare. You won't guess how much Wilt Chamberlain footage I found that is not available on YT.
Yeah, just tried those and nothing came up. Looks like it's just a waiting game for owners to upload I guess.
You could try contacting them via mail. They usually don't have anything rare uploaded online, but tons of tapes are yet to be digitized. Of course it costs a lot of money (believe me), but you could try that way.
