    Round 5: Lomachenko 10-9, clear.

Loma making Salido look foolish at first, making him miss overhands by a country mile. Each. He used his jab and played the matador yet again, with Salido bullying his way in and barging around to try and work the body. Loma simply backing off, turning the angle and flicking his lead out. Salido didn't know whether he's coming or going.

Not to burst your bubble, but I've literally just seen Lomachenko go in and clinch....

No I'm not. Again, Loma is categorically not a holder and he was holding in response to being fouled with impunity all night.

No bubble to bust. The vast majority of the holding was in response to Saldildo's incessant fouling and holding is hardly comparable to pounding the crap out of someone's nuts, thighs, hips and even knees all night.

    Round 6: Lomachenko 10-9, clear.

Loma not liking the work Salido is doing, clearly. As he clinched whenever Siri got remotely close. Other than that, and a shakey first minute, he was in control. Loma's jab and ballerina skills, let him dictate the range, and so how well Siri could land. He did so with ease.

This is a really ugly fight... and I'm not liking Lederman's card either. He's overrating the success Siri has had on the inside.

    After 6 I have it 59-56 Lomachenko.

Saldildo didn't just foul. I can turn a blind eye to a bit of dirty stuff as there are plenty of fighters who get dirty from time to time, including some of my favs. But we're talking about a simply scandalous amount of low blows (at least a third of his 142 total punch connects), not love taps either and many of them flagrant as hell, being scored as legal scoring shots and if you don't count them as legal then Loma clearly wins the fight, and that's not even factoring the points Saldildo should've had deducted from his tally for them too. If the ref was even remotely fair Loma 100% wins that fight.

There's no point discussing this because there's literally nothing anyone can say to make me altar my opinion on it.

    Round 7: Salido 10-9, clear.

Loma starting brilliantly, making Salido look like a cave man, slipping his shots, winning exchanges and landing the cleanest punches of the fight, so far. That said, Salido started barging in and working the body, applying effective pressure and making Lomachenko fight VERY negatively.

He barely complained after the fight or since either even though he was well within his rights to do so long and hard. That's the measure of the man. Personally I would've liked to see him slice Saldildo's face open Dre Billy goat style and play the piano on his bollocks.

If you want to count these as scoring blows, which again are over a third (a conservative estimate) Saldildo's 142 total punch connects, that's on you. Loma outlanded him by 22 blows even if you do but if you subtract 50 or whatever the exact number is from Saldildo's tally Loma is a clear winner.

And Loma didn't low ball him Arum offered him a career high payday and Saldildo ran away in the opposite direction. Loma wasn't even earning huge purses back then either.

Again Loma said nothing maybe because he wasn't used to the pro **** but if anyone punched me in the dick that many times I'd say something his fault
