No they didn't. But let's just leave it at that. You can tell it's a touchy subject for me and if I disliked you I wouldn't have displayed this amount of patience. In fact, I would've snapped at you about 7 or 8 posts ago.

Ugly fight. Not a fun one.

Salido made Loma fight out of his comfort zone, and box on the back-foot which was different to normal, however. I can't find the rounds to say he won it.

Don't worry, that is probably the (aesthetically) worst fight Salido ever had.

    Possibly excepting Weng Haya.

My opinion remains unchanged but no hard feelings. You got Saldildo's back, I got Loma's.

^ that's just IMO, though...Asianboxing.info said they really liked Salido vs. Haya, so YMMV.

To me it was just a lot of posing on the outside, missing on the way in, and fouling inside from both. :nusenuse:

Sweet. I'll get into the Lopez fight(s) later tonight. I'm looking forward to it. Salido is possibly the most entertaining fighter since Gatti.

I have a recommendation though.

    Fought marquez
    Fought gamboa
    Fought Martinez twice

But one of his better barely discussed fights was vs cristobal Cruz

Moving on from Loma vs Saldildo.

After getting shafted against Saldildo (IMO) he fought a 24-0 GRJ in his very next fight over in the US with a US ref and 3 US judges. GRJ might be an annoying horse-toothed leprechaun but he's a serious talent and had Loma lost that fight he would've been 1-2-0 and his career in tatters. This is what Stephen ''Breadman'' Edwards had to say about that and he's not wrong. Maybe not the ballsiest but it was a hella balsy move given what was at stake.

''He’s fought Gary Russell, Nicholas Walters and Guillermo Rigondeaux. Going after Russell at 1-1 is the ballsiest move I’ve ever seen. Loma’s run is excellent and in his 14 fights his resume is better than 95% of the field.''

And what a performance it was by Loma

In fact, I'm going to watch it again right now
