Honestly, whats the blueprint to beat Tyson Fury

It's certainly possible, I'd be inclined to lean a solid 60/40 in Wlad's favor. Joshua would meet fire with fire (it's hard to see him ever looking to play cute with Wlad), somebody's getting ironed out inside 6. Fury, though, is a much different proposition for any Wlad.

 

It's ironic Fury talks about retirement in a couple fights time. At this time, assuming he is living the life (no reason thus far to suggest he isn't), he will be peaking. A peak Fury would be a match for any one - of any era - may even beat them all.

* just to finish. I think he has an extremely 'effective' chin. Not 'Iron' like GGG for example but imo better particularly for a HW.

 

I've often said the same, although I think we're at least getting nearer to it now that he's treating himself like an athlete.

The media training and new age babble has made him a dull public figure, but the extent of Joshua's commitment to his work is impressive/admirable.

I think the answer is a bit simpler. a big HW with punching power WITH ACTUAL BOXING SKILLS.

Fury has one good fight against the guy who can’t box and you are all over his nuts.
Old shot wlad, wilder and chisora are the best names on Fury’s resume and last fight was prob the only time Fury looked good.

Always approved of Peter's steadying hand and found him to be a gentleman besides; chatted some with him privately in 2012/13 before I junked Twitter, was always friendly and appreciative of support, invited me to visit the camp for the Cunningham fight as I was in Woodbridge at the time (the Ottawa River wasn't a stone's throw away, and the timing wasn't great, so, regrettably, I had to pass), though I would imagine he became a bit more guarded after 2015.

Tyson was starting to look much more svelte under Peter in 2012 (his jump back into the 250's for Cunningham was probably a strategic choice), then he came back from the Haye-induced layoff a 270+ mess. Having said that, recent evidence suggests a heavier Fury achieved through good diet and S&C is the way to go (as his father believes).


Even at his most indisciplined, though, I always had a positive feeling about Tyson. Just seemed to me that he would come good one way or the other.

Reading this patter is like going back to 2007 for the Mayweather-Hatton buildup (and for the record, I wasn't backing Ricky). Stuck in the past much? I thought that chat was passé these days.

Fanboy you could argue, I myself favor the term 'longtime supporter' (been following Fury since around the time Current TV was doing features on him, much further back than one fight), but "blind British"? I wasn't even born here and most of my family is in North America. While I wish a good future for the UK, my national loyalties are to the land of my father and the US, and I don't expect to be here past the next decade. I've tended to follow and participate in the British domestic scene because I presently reside here. If I was living in Spain I'd follow the Spanish domestic scene. Doesn't mean I go giddy over every British prospect who comes down the pike, far from it.

Wad looked nothing like shot. He was spry, energetic and showed that he was able to pull the trigger when the urgency of the situation dawned on him enough to put his caution to one side.
