With todays early weigh ins both Ali and Holmes could easily make cruiserweight.

In fact some of the bigger recent cruiserweights like Murat Gassiev probably are heavier than Ali and Holmes come fight time.

Weight is the easiest thing to gain and be competitive. Especially at heavy. There is a long list of under 6 feet individuals whom have competed with less skill then Marciano

As far as Marciano goes, I doubt he would come close to dominating the heavyweight division but its possible he might be able to beat some of the top heavies due to stylistic reasons. The big hitters would probably have too much power but Tyson Fury despite his size doesn't seem to be a huge puncher. If Marciano could take his power things might get interesting.

Otto Wallin went the distance for example. It might not be totally inconceivable that Marciano is able to as well.

Artist's rendition of Rocky having to flying headbutt a man a foot taller than him. https://66.media.tumblr.com/20b2482ad2f58d18892b11f49fd07be1/tumblr_olv8m7k6kh1uuj1vto3_500.gifv

Fury isn't a top end puncher ,but for a man his size he is elusive.I just doubt Marciano could land consistently enough on him.I'd much prefer to watch Rocky in action,I'm not a Fury fan.

According to family members he walked around at 215 so no it’s not a stretch

Did you ever meet Ali when before he was completely frail? He was a very large framed man, and every bit of 6-3. I don't see him getting under 200 at all, especially without taking away his strength. If anything, in the superheavy era, he would pack on some pounds.

If family members include Peter, let's just consider it not credible.

Duran was known to walk around at 200. Should he have fought at heavyweight?

TYSON FURY completely outclasses Marciano, Marciano wouldn't be able to win by KO or a decision. Tyson Fury has an 18" reach advantage and like a foot of height advantage. Not to mention he is way more technically skilled, and would outbox Rocky all night. Rocky would have trouble landing, I see the fight being stopped by the ref in the first few rounds.

While he was still Cassius Clay, his earliest fights he was around 190. Then again he hadn't fully grown.

Let's compare apples to apples... Marciano turned pro at 25 at 185. Ali was 212 at that age.

If 215 had been a good weight for him to fight at,I think he would have done so.
I'd say it would make him
    1.Slower
    2.Leave him with less stamina.

Yeah I don’t know if he would be the same...but with modern work out methods people tend to keep their speed...even be more explosive with everything they do today. He also wouldn’t need as much stamina with a 12 round system. That being said idk what weight he would fight at today. Could have been cruiser? Maybe heavy for a few fights? LHW would have been to small for him imo. Loose to much.
